@ShadeStar
(Lol, yeah.)
(Lol, yeah.)
(Maybe trying to sneak by, but then it's just like, "oops!")
(Yeah, that seems something more like them.)
Esmea watched Cyrus's every move carefully. "So, can you at least tell us your name?" Uriah's voice was soft and gentle, hoping that she would respond to that. "Why would I tell you that? I'll be leaving soon anyway." Uriah took in a deep breath and left it at that. He was just happy he convinced her to let them help with her wounds.
Luna looked up to the girl. She had a bit of a side smile as she gripped her knife tighter, "S-So I'll be calling you Puta for the remainder of your stay. W-wonderful."
"Well… I'm Cyrus," he muttered, "I guess we're not exactly making you want to open up by keeping our secrets.
He was making sure to work as slowly as possible to keep Esmea around as long as they could.
"Call me whatever you want studder girl." Esmea glared. She didn't care what they called her, she wouldn't be here long anyway. Esmea looked to the door wondering if the other kids were still out there or if they moved on. Well, she didn't care either way. "How long will the bandaging take?"
Luna scowled and pulled her hood up. If this girl didn't need help, Luna probably would have killed her already. She had no right to be such a puta to everyone.
"Longer if you make fun of my friends," Cyrus muttered under his breath, "I don't know… I find it a bit distracting."
Vida decided to try sneaking away while everyone was distracted, only hoping that the other kids would follow.
Katya saw Vida trying to sneak away and decided to follow suit. Let's hope they got away.
Nathan started following the girls
Cyrus suddenly stopped bandaging when he thought he saw someone pass by down he hall.
"Hello? Who's there?"
Vida stopped in her tracks. She whispered, "They're not very old… Maybe around my brother's age… Maybe they could help us? After all, they're not a bunch of scary, gross old men…"
(I also figured out how to incorporate Cyrus into my story, and I'm so happy about it!!! He's not a main character, but he will be pivotal to the plot, and I may give him at least a few chapters from his POV)
"That probably means they're worse!" Katya exclaimed in a quiet tone.
(Great!)
Sparrow finally found Cyrus and opened her mouth to talk to him about the designs when she heard him talk. Frowning, she walked closer to the door, trying to see who was there.
Nathan squeaked when he saw a shadow appear b-but that girl said t-they were b-bad people!"
(Sweet!!)
"Maybe… but what can we do now? We've been caught, haven't we?" Vida whispered.
Cyrus looked to Sparrow. "Someone's sneaking around over there."
He quickly finished putting on one of the bandages.
Nathan looked at Vida "can we ask for something to eat before we go?" He asked, his once bright eyes, growing dull with each passing second
Sparrow nodded and looked out the doorway
"Yeah, Nathan," Vida said, trying to be reassuring, "We can…"
Cyrus alternated between looking over his shoulder to make sure nothing happened to Sparrow and continuing working on Esmea's wounds.
Katya rolled her eyes at the other two. She looked out to the people, she wasn’t sure if they were bad or good, but either way she didn’t want to get caught.
Sparrow gaped "what the?! Kids?!! Why are there kids here?!" She asked, looking out of the doorway and at the small group of children outside.
Nathan tried to blend in with the walls
Knowing there was no fighting it, Vida stepped forwards when Sparrow saw her.
"Please! Don't hurt, us m-m-miss!" She faked being about to cry.
Cyrus looked up, laughing. "Um… kids?"
Katya figured putting up an act wouldn’t do any good. But maybe she could become one with the wall. She didn’t want to talk to the adults.
Luna looked at Cyrus and Sparrow, “M-more kids?”
Eira walked into the room, holding some papers in her hand, "Hey guys, I was thinking- uh… children? Why are there children?"
Kyle glared at the adults, "Vida, get back here." He hissed.
