"Okay, could I maybe get a change of clothes then?" Luna asked quite bluntly.
"Okay, could I maybe get a change of clothes then?" Luna asked quite bluntly.
“Of course you could. I’ll get some of mine for you until I can find something better once we’re at your room.” Eira replied, shrugging a shoulder.
Luna paused for a second both in speech and body. She quickly continued to move on, "Yeah. That sounds good."
Eira hummed her agreement, “Okay. There’s a bathroom in your room so you don’t have to go far to shower.”
"That's new I guess…" Luna said quietly. She couldn't remember if that had always been a thing, or not.
Uriah waved the girls goodbye. And once again was alone. He knew he didn't have an attachment to this place and didn't exactly belong here. Without Zhavia he just felt lost. Remembering the way out he went back to where he left Prince. Saddling up he hoped on his horse and rode to Zhavia's grave. Freedom stayed by his side as he rode off into the forest.
Cyrus backed up a few meters and leaned down, opening up his stance in a playfully aggressive manner.
"Alright, show me what you've got."
He placed one foot a little bit behind him. His leg was trembling a little bit. Hand-to-hand was the one thing he had always held back in. He didn't want to hurt Sparrow or anyone else in training, because while he was a gentle and soft guy, he had a natural strength behind his punches, thanks to his size and build. However, this all did make him an excellent target to get beat up on because he could take it.
Sparrow threw a weak punch to throw him off guard before bringing her leg up to kick his side. She winced at the pain on her leg before hopping away and raising her fists on her direction. She noticed Eira looking like a ghost and defensively flipping around d to see Luna. Sparrows hands dropped to her side, lifeless while her eyes widened, staring in shock at the girl. She watched as she went to Eira and they had a heartfelt reunion. They walked away and sparrow stood there, still wondering what the heck happened
(Luna will be back shortly! Lol)
(…Would it be rude to go back to Sparrow with @Carrots on?)
(I dont think so? I mean Eira left Luna to clean up didn't she?)
(Yeah…)
Luna stepped out of her room leaving her old over jacket on and putting her hood up She hadn't stayed in the shower very long and changing into the clothes that Eira had left for her. She kept nervously glancing between the different people that she didn't recognize. Luna wanted to find a familiar face as fast as possible.
Sparrow dodged a few punches, took a few hits, and on the end lost to Cyrus. She was on the mat, breathing heavily and on pain "did…you get…stronger…or something?" She asked in between breaths
Luna wondered if Sparrow and Cyrus were still in the training room. She made her way there trying to take some of more isolated roots. Once she arrived there they were, she felt her body freeze. She shouldn't interrupt them, but at them same time. Cyrus and Sparrow were the closest to her besides….. Her breathing hitched for a second before Luna shook her head making her way towards Sparrow.
Sparrow laughed, still out of breath. She winced and sat up, leaning against the wall and she Luna making her way towards them. She grabbed her water bottle and splashed some on her face and smiled weakly 9j her direction
Luna smiled back and walked up to Sparrow, "Um hi Sparrow."
(Oof. I’ve been busy today. I’ll be back in about an hour.)
(Okey dokey)
Cyrus smiled a little. "I've been training a lot. In the meantime, I also grew a little bit more and became naturally stronger because of it. I'm still trash at swordplay and shooting, but I've got this going for me."
He started to take off his gloves, and then he saw Sparrow's attention had turned to someone else in the room. He squinted his eyes a little. It couldn't be…
"Luna…?" he asked, his voice coming out somewhat hoarse.
Luna froze slightly her instincts kicking in. She fought them down before giving Cyrus a small wave, "H-hey Cyrus. I'm back."
Cyrus raised his hand to wave back, but something felt wrong. He struggled to keep his breathing steady and was perhaps on the verge of tears. All that grief… and here she was. He didn't blame her, of course. He was beyond thrilled that Luna was still alive, but it was astonishing and overwhelming to see her standing in front of him after he had miraculously been able to move on.
"W-what happened?" he asked, no longer willing to conceal his concern.
Luna shrunk in on herself. She glanced down at the floor holding her tears in barely. She had worried them all, let them greive, and now she was forcing her way back into their lives, “T-The mission went h-horribly wrong. I-I- I can’t talk about what happened. Not y-yer.”
"I know that much. You don't have to share anything more until you're ready. I'm overjoyed to see you again. Don't feel bad for anything, Luna… We're your family. You know that, right? We're here to care for you." Cyrus was starting to choke up a little. He was much too overwhelmed. Not exactly happy, but not sad, either. There was just too much going on for him to collect himself completely.
Sparrow stood up,wo cling as she did, and have Luna a hug "it's ok, you dont need to talk about it." She said, silently willing g that she didnt cry herself. Seconds passed and she then she let Luna go free from the embrace "you look different, did you get taller?" She said, trying to change the subject
“I-I know. Thank you Cyrus, I-I missed you all,” Luna never thought she would get to say those words to them. Didn’t think she would live long enough too, but now here she was. Talking to them like nothing had really changed, “I, uh, guess maybe. I might have cut and dyed my hair though.”
"I'm just glad you came back," Cyrus said, "Don't apologize… No one expected you to come back at all."
He took in a deep breath, held it for a moment, and released it.
"Are you doing okay physically, though? Do you need any medication, just some rest, or anything else?"
