“I’m not world class Sparrow!” Eira called out when she heard her friend.
"Well, to me you are! Besides, what would I do without your specially made weapons?" She asked, laughing

Cyrus stood up from the table and caught up with Sparrow, Uriah, and Eira as quickly as he could and tried to pick up where they were in the conversation. His eyes were first drawn to Sparrow, but he quickly cut his gaze away with where his thoughts were going. She was off-limits still, as far as he was concerned.
Uriah walked back to the group now happy that he found his dog. Freedom stayed close and wagged her tail the whole time. "Alright, what's next?" He looked back to where he saw the young ones training. "Is there anything I can help with?" Training may be a bit much since he's only had a year of it, but maybe he could do something to help lift some of the weight off Eira and Cy's shoulders.
"I'm not sure. I might see if I can finish up that class I was teaching earlier," Cyrus said, "I was basically just teaching them about field medicine, so quick fixes for fighting injuries and things like that. If you're knowledgeable enough about that, you could maybe come help me with the stragglers, because unfortunately in this setting, there are some people who don't understand right away and they tend to get left behind because there are so few of us to help."
She looked at each of her friends, studying each of them and their changes. Sparrow looked Eira up and down, taking in her changes. The fact that she looked a little worn down was surprise to her. She then trained her gaze onto Cyrus, taking in how awkward his stature was. Sparrow realized that he was hiding something and was doing a terrible job at acting casual. "Did you guys build over the old bunker or is it still hidden somewhere here?" She asked, praying that her old weapons designs were still in existence.
"We built it into what we have now. So yes, the original bunker still exists, just at a lower level. It's still our quarters and where higher-ups have meetings. We didn't change much there, and we saved all of the stuff that was in there before in case we'd need it later," Cyrus explained, "Want to head down there? You want your old weapon designs and journals and all that, don't you? I made sure to organize them and put them somewhere safe."
Uriah patted his friends shoulders and gave them a shove. "You two have fun. I'll just stick with Eira and have her show me around a bit more." He smiled and walked back over to stand by Eira's side. He felt awkward since he barely knew her but it was best if Sparrow and Cyrus talked. Although Sparrow would most likely see through him and know what he was thinking.
"Right. Uh… Come on Sparrow. We should catch up some more while we're at it," Cyrus said softly, starting down the hall and towards a staircase.
Sparrow glared at Uriah, understanding exactly what he was doing. She followed Cyrus, pausing beside Uriah for a seconds "I see right through you (insert last name)! Have fun with Eira." She smirked, winking at him and running after Cyrus
Cyrus looked over his shoulder to see Sparrow. "I know I've said this already, but I missed you a lot. You're very important to me, and to all of us. I'm glad you're back. Especially after… well… the other mission went so wrong…"
Sparrow looked at him with a smile "well, I couldnt leave my mates behind now could I? Besides, Uriah was forcing me to go home but you know me, stubborn as an ox. I refused to come back to the guild and stayed with him." She looked down at her feet and sighed "I really did miss you. All of you. It was terrible what happened to Zoe and Luna." She said, remembering the message she received of her 2 friends demise
"Yeah…" he muttered, failing to mention his state following their deaths. He hadn't thought he'd ever recover from that, but here he was. "They deserved better."
Cyrus went back into where his quarters were now, and he pulled out a key to unlock the chest sitting at the foot of the bed. He swung the top open. A bit of dust had gathered on all of Sparrow's things that were being kept safe inside the chest.
"Here are your things," he said, "That is, if you need any of them right now, or later."
Cyrus tossed her the key to the chest.
She grabbed the key and quickly.opened the chest. She looked through the paper and broken parts until she found what she was looking for, a small 4 inch cuff for her forearm. She put it on and activated it before turning back to the chest. "So many old ideas, so many broken promises" she laughed remembering all those people she promised she would try and get a spacial Eira Weapon.
"You can always pick these back up. It's never too late. It'll be easier now that we've got a whole mini-guild of bright and capable people, and decent resources," Cyrus reassured her.
"Nah, we've gotten Eora for that. I'm just going to use some of this to recycle some old projects and make some new stuff for me." She smiled and shut the lid. Sparrow leaned against the chest and sighed "I really did miss you." She mumbled
