"Honestly I'm not sure. I don't know this kid and what she could be capable of doing." Uriah ran a hand through his hair. "I wonder what happened for her to become this way?" He took one last look at the door before headed to the dinning hall. "I'm hungry, want to join me for some lunch?"
(Can the other kids find Emsae in the room locked up and she totally convinces them that everyone here are bad people. I just thought it might be funny. So they help her get out of the room.)
"I'm pretty slow to anger most of the time, but she pisses me off…" Cyrus muttered, "What do we do about her? I don't think she'll answer any questions uncoaxed, and we sure can't reassure her by telling her who we are. But yeah… let's just go…"
As the children kept walking, Vida pointed out the gleam of a structure through the trees, about 100 meters away.
(So I've found out I've been spelling my girls name wrong this whole time, haha. Its Esmea.)
(Is it weird that my brain autocorrected it to the right spelling, so I didn't think anything of it?)
(I don't think so. I was just reading it and I was like "Dang it this whole time I've been spelling her names wrong.")
"Yeah… she doesn't seem like the type to tell us anything. So, we'll have to figure out some way for her to tell us." A wave of good smelling food hit Uriah as he entered the dinning hall. "I should probably get her something as well."
Esmea sat on the bed, deciding that freaking out won't help her. She was going to relax and figure a way out. Though she is just a child, she was already skilled in fighting and strategy. "They're assassins, they have to have some secret door out of here." She began to tap the walls for anything that is out of place.
Luna's room here had nothing of the sorts that she knew of. She had followed the others to the dining hall, "M-Maybe we could bribe her with food?"
"Knowing her type, she'll think we're trying to poison her or something," Cyrus spat, "It's worth a try, though."
"W-we could eat some of it to prove it's not poisoned," Luna suggested to Cyrus's comment.
"That's fair," Cyrus sighed, "Let's get to it, yeah?"
He grabbed a plate and got some food for himself first.
Luna nodded and grabbed some food, she had all of her focus on Cyrus and Uriah. No one else was here at the moment, don't look at the person walking by. Don't.
"She seems stubborn though, so I'm not sure how well that will go." Uriah grabbed an extra tray and put food on it. "Do you guys want to come and try to bribe her with me?" He grabbed some food for himself then walked back out.
Esmea had searched the whole room and didn't find any secret door. But, she did find a bunch of tools in the drawer of the desk. She spent about 30 minutes trying, but it wasn't working. "Well it's time to get creative."
"Yeah, I'll make sure she doesn't give you too much trouble," Cyrus replied, following Uriah closely.
(Luna: Meirda I knew I forgot something.)
"I-I'll come with," Luna said taking her food and following Uriah. She really just needed an excuse to leave the cafeteria. She really hoped it worked.
After walking down the halls for a bit, Uriah stopped in front of the door. Esmea stood where there was only one light and stared back at Uriah with a dark look in her eyes. It looked like something he had seen from a horror movie he has seen. "I brought food." He lifted it and showed her. "I'd rather starve than eat your disgusting food."
Cyrus was loathe to do this, but he lunged forwards menacingly and looked her in the eye.
"Then starve, you ungrateful brat! My friends were kind enough to bring you in, to make sure you weren't going to die, and then all you do is refuse. Pushing away kindness is no way to live life…"
"Then they should have let me die, you brute! I never asked to be like this or for you to save me." She punched the door and looked him in the eye with the same intensity he had. "And pushing away kindness is the only way to live. They only reason people are nice to you is because they want something from you."
"Did you ever think that something could be real companionship?" Cyrus shouted, "Sure, you're right to be a little wary, but this is some real-ass kindness that you'd be best off taking. You didn't wake up to interrogation or anything like that, so honestly? Things could be a lot worse for you."
Luna had no idea what she could do. Cyrus was antagonzing the young girl, even though hus words were kind his voice was not.
"I hate you and I hate all of your kind. All you do is train kids to fight so you can supposedly 'take down the bad guilds' but when you think about it, your doing exactly what they are." Uriah was a bit shocked by her logic. How can a 12 year old think like this, it's like there's an older person inside a small child. "So leave me to die if you want."
Cyrus lowered his hand. "Wait… Hang on a second…"
He had to think of how much to share.
"Which guild are you from? Nah… no… don't answer that if you don't want… Which ones are you familiar with?"
Luna snickered a little at the girl's comment. It was true, most of them were out to just get other guilds. She wasn't sure what this guild was out for, besides taking down P-Panther's guild. She sat down by the door listening to them talk.
(Imma just post in this Rp because this is the only one that makes me laugh like a maniac)
(That's fair… I would die for all of our characters.)
(Lmao, where are the kids atm?)
(Almost there. They see the building.)
(Kk.)
Nathan panted heavily as he saw the building coming up "I'm… tired…" he muttered
