"Oh, I've been good. Sparrow has been training me like no other since we've been gone. How about you?" This was weird, really weird. Sparrow and Cy were the only two he talked to, and the only two who really accepted him. Freedom was still walking closely besides Uriah.
Eira shrugged, “Stressed mainly. After you and Sparrow left the work just piled up and up,” She sighed and shook her head a little, “I’m glad Sparrow has been training you, that way you have a better chance of not dying on me- I mean everyone.” She rubbed at her neck.
"I understand, it must be hard losing a lot of your close friends." Uriah had only lost one person, so he couldn't imagine how Eira felt. Looking around he saw Sparrow and Cyrus training. "Who do you think will win?" He was worried about Sparrow since her accident, but she was strong. Before he could hear Eira's answer he saw a hooded figure lurking around watching Cy and Sparrow. "Who's that?" Uriah pointed down to the person.
Eira narrowed her eyes at the figure, looking them up and down a few times and assessing if they were a threat or not. They way they held themselves was obvious they were an assassin. Eira reached for her dagger before she noticed who it was and her arm fell limp and her face dropped, “I-It’s… L-Luna…” She whispered.
Luna glanced up to see Eira noticing her. She took a deep breath before slowly making her way to Eira. She pulled her hood back and gave Eira a small quiet smile with her scarred lips. Her eyes seemed dulled, almost dead and defeated. Her voice was still raspy from underuse of the past year, "Hi Eira, hi Uriah. It's been a while hasn't it?"
“Oh my gosh Luna.” Eira pulled her into a hug, not caring if the other girl hated the contact but she needed this. Needed to know she was alive and here and real, “I thought you were dead. I thought you were gone forever Luna.” She pulled back a little.
Uriah had so many questions about what happened on their trip and where the others were, but he knew now wasn't the right time. "Luna," Uriah smiled. He was about to go in for a hug, but remember Luna hated him a year ago. He was still happy to see her though. Freedom ran over and rubbed her against Luna's leg.
Luna had froze and practically melted at the contact. She really didn't care that her mind screamed to run. Her hand reached down and pet Freedom's head, "So did I. But here I am…."
Eira pulled back from the hug and gave her a small smile, “Let’s get you to the medics, wing then, yeah? After that you can ask me any questions you want as long as you answer mine.”
"I feel fine Eira now," Luna said taking a step away and holding her arms. She brushed the white hair back behind her ear, "It's just taken a while to finally come back."
Uriah decide to just follow Eria and Luna to the medic room. He had no where else to go and he also wanted to here the story of what happened. Now he was with two girls that didn't like him much a year ago, but maybe he can make up for his mistakes and get on their good side.
Eira rubbed at her face with one hand with a small sigh, “At least sit down then, Luna, please. I have no idea what you’ve been through and it’ll make me feel a tad bit better.”
Luna nodded and sat down. She looked down at her feet, "I-I would have come back sooner, but I got held up. I'm s-sorry for worrying all of you. Or anything I might have put you through."
“Hey, it’s okay, Luna,” Eira said softly, sitting down on the floor in front of her, “Even though I’m serious as to what happened, I want push if you don’t want to talk. I can understand that.”
"It's too soon," Luna whispered quietly. Even thought she knew Eira was an amiga, she felt her instincts to run kicking in, "Give me some time to readjust to… People, and then maybe."
Uriah also sat on the ground and just listened while petting Freedom. He was saddened at the thought of her going through so many bad things. "Would you like to go take a shower or anything, maybe relax for a bit?" That might help her a tad.
Eira nodded and gave her a small smile, “As you wish. I’ll be there for you when you’re ready to talk but until then take all the time you need.”
Luna peaked up at Eira, "Thank you. A shower would be nice, can someone show me the way?"
Eira nodded and stood. She He,d out her hand but soon retracted it slightly incase she didn’t want physical contact, “Of course, this way.”
Luna stood up on her own and nodded to Eira, "Thank you again. Lead the way I guess."
Eira once again nodded before turning to Uriah, “See you later Uriah. Come find me if you need anything.” She said before leading Luna away.
Luna followed after Eira, her hood was back up in it's place resting on her head. She didn't want to be seen at the moment.
“I can put you close to Cy and myself if you’d like. There aren’t many people in our area.” Eira said, falling into step beside Luna.
"That would be nice," Luna responded gratefully, "For now at least."
Eira nodded, “If you ever want to move then don’t be afraid to ask, or anything else for that matter.”
