Cyrus smiled and ran a hand through his hair. "Yeah, I missed you too. A lot. Are we… are we good now? I know things were kind of rough between us, but um… I think we can both agree it's time to move past that. I mean, you've been with Uriah for a while now…"
She frowned "with Uriah?…" she stayed quiet for a while before she burst out laughing "oh you think…" she laughed "oh, that's rich." She said, wiping her eyes "sorry for laughing but…" she muffled a laugh "Uriah and I aren't togather. We havent been for quite sometime. We decided that we were better as friends." She smiled at the floor
"Oh, god… Okay, so I misread some stuff…" Cyrus murmured, "My bad."
He paced the floor a little bit. Goddammit… She's not off limits… What do I do? Let's just… not do anything yet.
"So Uriah's single now?" He sort of joked, trying to deflect his feelings in any direction he could.
(If Cy made a move on Uriah, I don't think Uriah would turn him down, haha. Just kidding.)
"So Eira, want to show me around since we are here?" Uriah wanted to get to know Eira better, he was already friends with Cy and Sparrow, so now he just need Eira. Although he felt he had to try harder with her since Zhaiva and her were so close and hes the one the drove their friendship to ruin.
(Oh my god. Their relationship is really similar to the relationship between my fiance and one of our friends from high school. I love this so much.)
(All these relationships either have so much angst or so much humor lol)
Sparrow smirked "I'm not sure he would return your affections, Cy. I dont think you're his type!" She laughed and walked out of the room
(I went and made a playlist based off of Sparrow and Cyrus' relationship because it was really angsty and I had good music for it lol)
Cyrus crossed his arms and closed off his stance, and his fingers tapped furiously on the outside of one of his arms. He didn't know whether he should just let it go or say something. She probably already knew, what with all the stupid stuff he said, all of his gestures and constant trying to hide something yet doing a terrible job.
"Sparrow, I… never- never mind…" he stammered out.
(Lmao bec)
Sparrow rolled her eyes, still smiling "I know you aren't going to tell me anything, but I know that I can still kick your ass at sparring!" She smirked, sticking her tongue out.
(I forgot to ask, how are yall with swearing?)
(I don't mind at all.)
"Okay, maybe so," Cyrus said, laughing, "Is that an invitation to go spar again, like old times?"
(So I did a thing and there will be a major plot twist! laughs maniacally)
Sparrow smiled "not an invitation buddy, a challenge." She said
(I swear if someone dies again, I'll throw my phone across the room.)
(I'm back~)
How long had it been since she had come this way? Actually walk up to the building that had been built. Her icy eyes glanced up and down looking at a broken mirror edges coated with dried blood. Her moon like skin still glowed, though it's complexion ruined by scars, hair once long and black turned to a stark white and she had been meticulous in cutting most away letting only half of it remain hanging no longer than her chin. She let out a long sigh before she put her hood up, slung her bow onto her back, and she towards the entrance. Luna was finally coming home.
(Yay!!! Luna!!! I'm so happy.)
(So I did a thing and there will be a major plot twist! laughs maniacally)
Sparrow smiled "not an invitation buddy, a challenge." She said
"I mean… it's hardly a challenge for you," Cyrus sighed, "But alright. We can go to the training room if you would like. Go easy on me, would you?"
(She's back!!!)
She smirked, hiding her fear. Whilst on the one year trip with uriah, she had fallen out of a 3 story building and broken both her legs and her left arm, hence the reason she got tired quickly. Her legs had gotten weaker and her arm was very easy to break. 'this may have been a bad odea' she thought. "Shall we?" She asked rhetorically
"Of course. Hand-to-hand? Weapons? Your call," Cyrus said, climbing up the stairs and then opening the door to one of the training rooms. The wall was lined with various weapons and protective equipment.
Luna walked up to the gate, only to be stopped by a small pretentious child insisting she'd answer her questions. Luna wasn't in the mood for talking and kept trying to get past. The girl was insistent and so Luna was stuck with this small hostile child. The only thing keeping her from her old home and… Friends. Luna whipped her bow out and took aim at the younger girls head, they were in a standstill now. Luna repeated the words she had been telling the young assassin, "Let me in."
"I'd say weapons but I would rather not end up in the infirmary on my first day back. Let do hand to hand?" She said, her statement ending in a question.
"Alright then," Cyrus agreed, "Take any equipment you want before we fight, and we can get started."
He went up to the wall and grabbed a pair of thick gloves to protect the backs of his hands.
The younger back down after seeing the steely glare Luna had and let her in. She probably had alerted other assassins of her presence, but honestly she didn't care. Now where would they be? Luna wanted to see familiar faces in this unfamiliar place.
Sparrow quickly taped her hands and put on a pair of padded fingerless gloves. She also put on a leg brace for her right leg and a brace fmfor her hand as well. Grabbing a cold bottle, she quenched her thirst before stepping onto one of the mats
Cyrus backed up a few meters and leaned down, opening up his stance in a playfully aggressive manner.
"Alright, show me what you've got."
He placed one foot a little bit behind him. His leg was trembling a little bit. Hand-to-hand was the one thing he had always held back in. He didn't want to hurt Sparrow or anyone else in training, because while he was a gentle and soft guy, he had a natural strength behind his punches, thanks to his size and build. However, this all did make him an excellent target to get beat up on because he could take it.
It took her quite the while and a few close calls with some strangers, but Luna finally heard a pair of familiar voices. Of course they would be training, she smiled slightly. To her sids both hands were shaking, they thought she was dead. Luna, Luna began to think this had been a bad idea. It was too late now. She took a deep calming breath before entering the training room, finally seeing Sparrow and Cyrus for the first time since…. yeah.
“Sure, I don’t see why not,” Eira shrugged a shoulder with the barest hint of a smile before she headed off down a near by corridor. People scurried along here and there, some small kids and others their age. She nodded or smiled to them as they passed, “So, Uriah, uh… how have you been?” And she was making things awkward.
