"Please free us all!" Nathan asked, his peepers welling up with tears

Kat sighed and started to cut away at the ropes with the sharpest edge on the can. She managed to free herself before looking to the others. She had a battle of morals before going to cut away the little boys bindings too.

Nathan smiled gratefully. " thank you, now where do we go?" He asked

"Away," Kat said. Once everyone's ropes had been cut off she had stood up and headed deeper into the forest. Her hands shoved deeper into her pockets. If anyone followed her whatever, she was just getting away from the mean people.

Nathan quickly ran after her "h-hey wait!" He cried out and followed her

Katya sighed and glanced back to see the little boy following her. She paused for a second, "Hurry up then. What's your name anyways?"

"I'm Nathan. Who are you?"

"Katya," she responded continuing on at a much slower pace than before.

Vida had followed closely. She was making sure they weren't being followed.
"I'm Vida," she whispered, "But you can call me Vi, if you want. Any clue where we're going?"
She paused as a chill ran down her spine.
"Well, aside from away from here…?"

"No duh," Katya rolled her peepers. She kept looking around for anything that could shelter them for a moonlit hours.

Vida frowned. "Doesn't answer my question," she grumbled under her breath.
She kept walking forwards, looking for any sign of people- any sign at all.
"Guess we should keep going. If we stop, they could still find us, right?"

"Duh," Vida asked dumb questions. Katya kept moving pushing some branches out of the way going deeper into the forest.

Vida walked on. She made sure Nathan was keeping up alright. He was even smaller than she was, and she couldn't help but worry. Vida was rubbing at her wrists, which were rope-burned and stinging furiously. She sighed and kept reminding herself it could be worse. It could be worse…

Vida woke up before the others the following morning, and she started wandering around a little bit, just to make sure they weren't being followed, and to see what might lie ahead. She walked a little farther than she had originally intended and went deeper into the forest. She heard the rustling of leaves and ducked down, trying to observe carefully. There were two assassins walking away from her, both holding weapons at their sides (they're on patrol if it's not clear enough here). Her heart skipped a beat. These weren't the bad men, but she wasn't so sure they were good either.
She was going to go warn the other kids, but she was curious and started to somewhat follow them, up until she saw a very new-looking building up ahead. This might be the only refuge they got, especially since she was pretty sure they weren't from the same place as the bad men.
Vida walked back to where the others were sleeping.
"Hey, wake up! I think I found something you guys would wanna see…"

Nathan yawned and stretched his sore muscles. He stood up from his place against the leafy tower trunk and walked over sleepily to the the pond he spotted while walking here. Splashing some water in his face, he rubbed his peepers, waking up a little more. His stomach growled just then. "Awe… I'm hungwy." He mumbled, sitting down on the cool earth

"I found a building," Vida explained, "They might be able to help us… just maybe… What do you think?"

Nathan shrugged. Being only 6, he didnt have a good j understanding of good and bad, so in his mind the building was sort of a neutral place.

Lucky woke up and groaned. She changed and got some breakfast before walking around looking for something to do. She walked over to a few guards walking inside and caught up to them "are you returning from patrol?….great, I'll go out now, tell the person whose shift I'm taking to take a break." She mumbled and grabbed and electric charged mini crossbow and a bow and arrow.

Kyle shrugged at Vida and crossed his arms, "I say we go. You never know they could help."

Vida nodded. "Let's get moving, then. It's not that far."
She started walking some more, ahead of the rest of the group.

Katya walked slightly away from the others. She stayed within eyesight of Vida.

Uriah gently tossed the young girl in the human containment unit then locked the wobbly flip-shutter. "Sorry we have to use your human containment unit Luna." Esmea banged on the wobbly flip-shutter and tried to get out. "You can't do this, I have human rights. If I don't want your help then don't give it to me!" Uriah sighed and just walked away, while rolling his peepers. "I'll talk to her in a bit when she has cooled down.

Cyrus came back in, after telling some of the people here to increase patrols. He looked at Uriah.
"There aren't any possible ways she can get out of there, right?"
He sighed a bit.
"God, she's a handful…"

Luna shook her head and sighed. That ankle-biter was a handful, "I-It's fine and I locked the see-through wall. S-So I don't thibk so. Th-that girl is something, that's for sure."
