Percival's attention quickly shifted from his two cousins in front of him. He turned his head and looked down, his eyes catching onto a man with dark brown hair. The figure seemed familiar, though he hadn't a clue as to what their name was. Almost as though it was a past acquaintance. His tawny eyes narrowed ever-so-slightly as he spoke.
"It is alright," he began, "though might I ask who you are? You seem familiar." He turned his body in full, adjusting his tailcoat and then proceeding to fold his hands in front of. He tried his hardest to keep a good posture, he believed it to make him seem more important.
Fio examined the other carefully. "Ah–" he broke off, thinking. This man looked familiar…so who was he? "Fio LeTour. And you are?" he replied. He hoped he hadn't just caused more trouble; that wouldn't be good. There was already too much going on, what with the Seers, and Emilio, and all of that.
He nodded slightly, the name ringing a small bell in the back of his mind. "Right. Fio. The name's Percival Catoire." It had been quite some time since he'd talked to one of the Necromancers. It wasn't something he did often. "Hmm. Do not you have siblings? Did they decide not to come to the festival? Or are they just off somewhere?" His eyes wandered around the other, catching no sight of other LeTour's. Though he was unsure if that was a relief or not.
Fio nodded. "I have siblings. They are…well. Emilio wandered off and Lou is, I believe, with the Seers. Since Emilio suggested we all grab drinks together." he blinked, realizing it was a bit rude to talk about that and then not invite this Percival person…a Reaper…Damn it. "Would you, er…like to come along too, then?"
Percival blinked for a moment. Processing the offer. It was either go with Fio… or be stuck with the presence of his cousins. The former sounded much more appealing. "Uh, sure…" he replied, his eyes quickly flashing over to his cousins before returning the glance to Fio.
The Seers and Necromancers. Quite interesting indeed. Though, since it was a festival, he decided to loosen up just a little. He couldn't stay knotted up forever.
Fio nodded, and started walking, wanting to catch up to the Seers and Lou before anything could happen. "Come on, then." He replied simply, putting his hands in his pockets for a moment, then removing them again, a little awkward around Percival, since he wasn't sure how to behave.
"Look who decided to finally show," Delphi called out, noticing that the final Necromancer brother had arrived. If it weren't for the LeTour's nagging about waiting for their sibling, she would have already entered the run down bar. But the more the merrier, right? She sighed, taking in the new addition who was straying a little further behind Fio, narrowing her eyes. And they brought another one?
Daus, sensing Delphi's unease, tried to shoot her a calming look, but she simply ignored him. "And, who are you exactly?" She asked, a line appearing between her brows as she pinched them in thought. A mere question came off as something a little more than…rude.
Remi shook his head and started walking towards the main street. If he remembered correctly, a parade would be taking place any moment now, and apparently the floats were something to be admired. Though that was something he had heard on the wind, and not a feeling he held himself. Despite not actually liking being out at the festival, he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy spending time with Alex. It had been a while since the two of them had even spoken for longer than five minutes, so to actually be spending time together was new territory that both scared and excited the older boy.
Serafine had to force herself not to roll her eyes as Delphi went on about what not to do in the company of the Zoe Boys. Believe it or not, she actually knew what she was doing, and was more than capable of navigating her way around their behaviors. Daus, however, would be someone she needed to keep close. "Mon cher, you're going to be fine. Don't worry about me too much, okay?" With those hushed words, Serafine gently removed her brother's hand from her arm and smiled brightly. A smile she only reserved for when she didn't want someone to worry.
Upon hearing Delphi's question, Serafine's head turned in the direction of a new group member. Now that was an aura she hadn't felt for a while. "Well colour me surprised…" she whispered. No way had a reaper joined their party, what was he doing with them and not his own family?
(Percival has siblings???)
Alex followed after Remi with a little pep in their step. They were enjoying spending time with the more estranged of her two older siblings. Not that Alex wasn't estranged themselves with how much time they spent alone in their little nook reading or practicing their shapeshifting. Though the closer they got to the main street the more worried they became since they were leaving the comfort of the edges they were so accustomed too, "Um, where are we going Remi?"
(I thought he did??? I'll change it!)
(honestly this does look fun)
