Narthelliot looked up. "Hello Percival. Sabastion is coming soon. Hopefully." Narthelliot said. nodding his head. Garcia looked up at Percival. "Hello cousin Percival!" She said jumping up. Narthelliot looked to the side of Percival. "Sabastion finally showed-" Narthelliot got cut off by Sabastion's voice.
"Percival! Long time no see!" Sabastion said, sitting next to Narthelliot. Sabastion looked up. " Well. How's your family?" Sebastian asked. Garcia saw a group of her friends. He tugged on Narthelliot's shirt and asked, "Elli? Can I go to my friends?" Garcia said, pointing to the group of her friends. "Sure! Just stay safe." Narthelliot smiled. "Anyway, How are you?" Narthelliot asked.

Percival's gaze snapped over to Sa(e?)bastio(a?)n with a slight glare. "We're from the same family, you imbecile," he responded, "though, if you are asking of my mother and father, they are just fine. Busy as ever, of course." He turned his head to watch Garcia walk away as he spoke, looking over her group of friends carefully.

"Additionally, be sure to keep an eye one Garcia, that girl is too reckless to be any good," he warned. He didn't find his cousins to be the most trustworthy people at all, and certainly not the most responsible. They were too carefree for their own good, but they couldn't exactly be replaced.

His thin, pallid hands reached up and swiped a few stray strands of hair behind his ear. "But," he continued, "I am doing adequately. My gratitude for your inquiry. And of you two? I hope you are not causing any mischief among the other families or anyone for that matter. It would not be a good look at all."

Within his hand, he had a small drink which he took a sip from promptly. The taste was ever-so-slightly bitter but still enjoyable. He gently spun his wrist around, he liquid swirling within its container. A small smile of joy pulled on his face, the drinks and the music something that made him happy. Though he quickly covered this with his cup, hoping that no one had noticed.

Daus shadowed behind Seraphine, his soft features pulled into a worrisome look as he glanced between the LeTours and his own siblings. Yes, he could handle himself and the other families, but he was worried about Seraphine, sightless and all. The festival was already taking a toll of him, the overwhelming auras, people's futures crossing over one another right under his nose…he could only imagine how much more overwhelming it was for his older sister. And his abilities weren't even to their full potential yet!

Wait until Grandme hears! She'll be so happy I can sense some of the lay lines…maybe I can try the dreaming ritual tonight.

His thoughts fizzed around him, only doubled by how much the young LeTour siblings spoke. He went to open his mouth in protest, though duly went against it. Delphi was going to share her thoughts anyways, no need for the both of them.

"A drink it is. You guys have already wasted precious moments. Let's get going, petites!" Delphi ushered as she fixed her ash colored braids, surprising Daus that it was not an offensive comment this time. "I need a joint, you all are stressing me out," she muttered in addition, grabbing onto Daus' arm and pulling him towards her. Now that they were closer, you could see how similar the two looked, almost like twins under the lantern light, both with soft, coffee toned skin, bright hair and those milky grey eyes. Delphi was almost a spitting image of Seraphine when the eldest sister had been younger, though she despised to admit it.

(I'm thinking that when the LeTours/Ardoines go get a drink, they just talk, get to know each other, but Delphi then talks to one of the Zoe boys. He tells her of some strange family beyond the Bayou, what they're like blah blah blah. Maybe when the seers get home they investigate a little bit with their abilities and warn the other families the next day? Then later on they can band together during the other nights of the festival.)

(Meanwhile every other family gets to know each other throughout the rest of the night, LeTours can raise the dead, etc, etc. )

Emilio clapped his hands happily, smiling widely. "Yay! Oh hey, pretty boy, I never got your name did I?" Emilio spoke towards Duas, absentmindedly reaching into his coat pocket and pulling out his new earings. As he talked, he took out his current earnings and fixed the new ones to his ear lobes, all without taking his eyes off of Daus.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Fio sighed at Emilio, shaking his head at his younger brother. Gods, would he just stop? He shot his brother, his triplet, a warning look, trying to discourage him from this path. Trying to keep him from getting involved with a Seer.

"Oh, um, I–" Daus stammered softly , running a hand through his curls as he glanced all around the festivities, attempting to not meet Emilio's gaze. Talking to others wasn't always his strong suit, he prefered flashing a smile and going on his way. The last thing he needed was a boy flirting with him in front of his siblings, much less a LeTour. "Daus. Daus Ardoine." He offered with a kind smile, quirking his usually serene features.

Delphi looked between Emilio and Daus, a dead-set glare making way to her narrowed eyes. "Careful, cherie, that's my baby brother you're flirting with," she taunted lightly, but it came out as something a bit more ominous than teasing. Yes, the rest of the Ardoine family was soft-spoken and would avoid conflict, but you could never really tell what Delphi's intentions were. She was an unpredictable current when it came to her family.

"Oh, so you're older than him. For some reason I thought you were twins." Emilio laughed, a carefree smile on his face. If he knew that she was threatening him, he sure didn't show it. He slipped his old earrings into his pocket, humming along to the music that floated through the air. "This is my first time at Mardi Gras, usually I spend the nights keeping the spirits company. A lot of them miss the festival and occasionally there are some deaths so I help the new ones get accustomed to, well, being dead." He spoke openly, his words not having a desired target, but it was made sure that they were heard by those around him.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Fio clenched his teeth, and gripped Emi's shoulder. "Emi. Shut. Up. We are around normal people, and you are talking very loudly. I don't want you thrown in the asylum." he said in a low tone, eyes boring into his brother. "Please. Be quiet."

Delphi watched Emilio intently, taking in everything she could about his mannerisms, something she had always done by habit. Sure, she was a brash person, but she most definitely was intelligent as well. Maybe later she could find out a little about his future later, it only took a touch. Her abilities were fast moving and unstable, something Daus wished he had, though their Grandmere feared were in the wrong hands.

"Unfortunate you LeTours get stuck with such a…diminishing job," Delphi offered with a sweet smile, trying to mask her offensive statements as she looked Emilio up and down. Daus glanced at her harshly, a look solely reserved for when his sister made out of line comments like that. She simply ignored him, continuing with her snide stanza as she twisted an ashy braid in her hand. "And you talk about it oh, so, proudly. Tell me, what's it like speaking to the dead because no one else wants to talk to you?"

"You'll have to excuse my sister," Daus began with a soft chuckle, cutting Delphi off abruptly before she could say anything. "She doesn't know what she's saying. How about those drinks?" He added charmingly, trying to get Emilio to focus on him. Great, another mess I need to clean up for Delphi.

"Fio, normal people are boring. And besides," Lou added, keeping her voice raised, "It's no fun pretending to be normal." She turned to Daus. "Mardi Gras is fun, isn't it? There's food, and later, Emi and I are gonna go an' talk t' some spirits, so I can write my book!"

Emilio's smile didn't waver as he turned his golden gaze to Delphi. "Oh, I suppose you folk enjoy looking to the future more than the past, that is your family's whole thing. We learn from history and you can learn a lot about a person from their ancestors." His voice was the same jovial tone it had been before. "And, if no one else wants to talk to me, why do I have boys giving me flowers?" Emilio tutted, turning his attention back to Daus. "Yes, I don't usually drink except for festivals, so I can't wait."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Fio groaned, rubbing his face with his hands. "Everyone stop, please." he said. This is why we don't mix. "Please. I don't want a repeat of our history." he shook his head a little bit. "Emilio, and Seer, please." he shot another look at Emilio, silently pleading him to stop this, please, don't start a fight here. Don't start shouting about this here.

The moment that Fio took Serafine’s hand, a bright scene exploded in her mind. The boy’s past was like a worn sepia film-reel, some of the scenes missing features such as individual faces. “The son who flouts his father’s teachings for the sake of being fair to others…” she whispered, eyebrows furrowing a little. “Are you the foundations from which your family can grow, or the roof that protects them from the harshness of the elements?”
The woman jolted back a little, pinching the bridge of her nose as if a migraine were forming. When she looked back at Fio, her eyes were clearly apologetic. “Forgive me.”

When she glanced around for Daus, she found him talking to the other LeTour son. An odd sense of happiness radiated from her brother, one that prevented her from dragging his attention away from the person he was with. Serafine wanted her brother to be happy and have fun today, and she would in turn keep her qualms under wraps. Though, where exactly were they all headed, and how was she supposed to make her way there?

She finally caught on to the conversation that was going on, and too felt like perhaps this whole thing wasn’t going to work. The necromancers were too loud, and it was going to cause some serious trouble. Serafine turned to Emilio and Lou, a dangerous glimmer in her milky irises. “The two of you would do well listening to your brother. Neither of you fully understand the situations we have faced, the pain we have experienced, and the names we hold. Both of our families have reputations, and while you are out in public it would be wise to not put a stain on them just because you want to boast how different you are.”
She turned to her sister. “I’ll be dealing with you when we get home.”

Remi’s eyebrows raised a little at Alex’s response. He shoved his hands into the pocket of his coat and started walking away. “You know I hate it when people lie to me. Shout if you need me.”

Of course, he knew that they would never do that. Perhaps he was coming across as cold a little too strongly, he did, after all, still care about his family. Why couldn’t they see that?

Remi wandered through the streets, taking in the vast array of scents and sights. All the brightly colours beads and silks, and the soft auburn. The stalls of food that only tempted him more. He patted the leather pouch he always kept in his coat pocket, hopefully he had enough money for food.

@ShadeStar

Alex bit their lip getting caught in the lie. They almost wanted to remind Remi that it was unlikely that he would be able to hear them over all the noise. They glanced at Ester and figured maybe sticking with Remi might be the better choice so Ester could enjoy themselves at the festival, the only one of the three that would probably semi-enjoy themselves.

They started to run after Remi slipping through the crowds, "Remi wait up!" They couldn't see him at the moment but hoped he wasn't that far away from them.

Emilio's smile turned to a faint frown. "I may not look it, but I do have common sense you know? Everyone already assumes I'm off in the head, so that gives me the freedom to talk about most things in light quantities." He rolled his eyes and in a flash, the frown was gone, the smile back and he happily looked around at the festival.

@The-Magician group

Remi had just bought a steaming bag of cheesy potato croquettes, smiling something of a cheeky smile as he handed the money over to the vendor and turned away, when he heard his name being called. He squinted through his sunglasses and saw Alex running towards him. He started walking towards them, not with any urgency mind you——if something was wrong, he’d know. When he came to a stop in front of Alex he wasn’t sure what to say. Instead, he held out the brown paper bag towards her. “Croquette?”

@SpookyScarySnoteleks group

Lou stuck out her tongue. "I'm not that stupid, y'know. I know we have a reputation and all that, but listenin' to Fio all th' time?" She grinned, finishing off her chocolate. "That's not happenin' anytime soon."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Fio frowned a little bit at Seraphine's words about him, wondering what exactly she meant. Then he let out a breath, hoping his siblings were willing to listen. He did his best, but Emi was a loose cannon and Lou was more likely to listen to Emi than to him. So he didn't know how this was going to play out.

"Look, let's avoid this whole situation and go meet the Zoe boys already. I was supposed to meet them ten minutes ago," Delphi intervened, trying to cut off everyone over the loud noise of the festival. It seemed as if the parade would be starting soon, many of the dancers leaving to get dressed for their specific floats, and shop vendors boasting new beaded necklaces. Most of all, she wanted to avoid a conflict with Seraphine. The last thing she wanted was her older sister scolding her in front of a bunch of strangers.

"I second that," Daus chirped with a small, half crescent smile, making his way over towards Seraphine as he gently put his hand on her arm again, careful not to startle her. "And I trust you boys will be joining us?" As much as he could sense that his siblings did not want the LeTour sibling's there, the best he could do for now was was avoid conflict and keep them where he could see.

@ShadeStar

Alex took a moment to catch their breath silently glad they managed to catch up to Remi. There was a moment in time they were worried they had gotten lost within the noisy and colorful festival and the fact Remi heard them was a miracle. They stood up straight and nodded a little with a very small smile, "Um, yes thank you. Do you, um, mind if I stick with you tonight?"
