(I think its your turn.)
(I think its your turn.)
(Right.)
"Okay." she mumbled, letting him go.
He walked to the back wall and took a deep breath. He turned and sped straight towards the barred window as fast as he could. He slammed into it and heard a horrible crunching sound. Ow. The window burst open, bits of metal and glass flying everywhere. He got the sensation of falling, then he hit the sidewalk with a dull thud. He lay motionless.
(Hows that?)
(Good!)
Alice screamed, watching helplessly as Ferran hit the ground hard. She turned and, tying one end of a sheet to one of the intact bars, lowered herself out the window, dropping the last story. Ignoring the pain in her ankle, she rushed over to him and shook him, praying for him to wake up. "Ferran… Ferran, wake up!"
Ferran heard someone calling his name. At least, he thought it was his name. He couldn't really remember….
He opened his eyes. "Ow…" He groaned.
She nearly sighed in relief. He was alive! "Are you okay? Can you walk?"
"Uh…" He tried to sit up, but fell back, cringing. "No…" It hurt to even talk.
Okay, don't talk then. She looked around. The building was to their left, but to their right was a wooded area, which could provide cover. What hurts?
Hmmmmm…I just jumped out of a window…lets see…EVERYTHING!
Well I mean, did you break anything?
Ferran wheezed. Yeah I think so.
Alice sighed. This was taking too long. They could have been spotted already. She tried to be patient. Okay, like what? Please specify…
My shoulder…my ribs…my leg possibly…oh and my left arm, I landed on it…
Ouch. That was way more than she expected. How was she going to move him now? She wrapped her arms around his waist and tried to slide him, but he was too heavy, and she was terrified of accidentally hurting him.
I can try to stand up again. He thought to her. He grimaced as he sat up. Pain shot through him as he shakily got to his feet. He put his good arm around Alice. I can do this…
Be careful, she warned, supporting him as they hobbled into the forest area. She sat him on a fallen tree. You okay? You should probably see a doctor or something…
No no…I'm fine… He thought as he tried to catch his breath. His chest hurt so bad he felt like he was going to pass out. Are you okay?
I'm fine! I'm not the one that jumped out a window! Don't worry about me right now.
No seriously, are you okay?
I said I'm fine. Why are you so worried?
I just wanted to make sure you weren't lying just to make me relax…
How do you know I'm not? she teased. Then a shadow fell over them. She looked around. It was getting dark.
Where are we gonna stay for the night?
(Im here but ill be back in an hour)
('Kay.)
Good question… would you be willing to break in somewhere?
