"Really? I would KILL to know what people thought of me…"
"Really? I would KILL to know what people thought of me…"
"But would you?" she asked quietly. "Would you want to know every little judgement people have about you? Know every little secret, every thought, every mistake of the people you encounter? Know what everyone around you is doing, all the time?"
He looked at her. "You can control what you hear and when you hear it can't you?"
"Now I can," she admitted, "But I didn't learn how to until third grade." Her eyes flashed as she recalled her nightmarish childhood.
"Oh…." Ferran blinked. "That must have been terrifying…"
(Sorry, dinner.)
"It was… pretty bad." Then she shook her head. The conversation had become way too personal.
(GO GET THE FOOD!)
(No, I already went to dinner, that's why I left.)
(OHHHHhhhh gotcha!)
Ferran could tell she was getting uncomfortable. He glanced around the room. There was something odd about it…
"Hey! I wonder why the windows are barred?"
"You're right," she said, "They do have bars." She went over to investigate, opening one of the windows and rattling the bars.
Ferran looked around the room again. White sheets, white walls, white everything…wait…
"Alice…I think this is an Asylum…"
(Tyson…?)
She looked back at Ferran. "That's not good, is it?"
(WHOOOOOOPS! Wrong RP!)
"Uh…no…" Ferran turned to her. "We need to get out of here."
"We probably should," Alice agreed. She opened the door to the hallway.
Ferran ran in front of her. "WAIT! We have to do it quietly." He said as he shut the door softly. "If we are in an Asylum, then we are trespassing on private property. And if we get caught we go to prison, and if we go to prison we will never see the light of day and we'd be better off dying."
(Im back….I jjusstst got home)
She thought for a moment. "Any chance that Livia could come here and help us?"
"I don't know you're the one with the Mind powers Missy!"
(Yay!)
But she suddenly looked worried. "I don't want to stop blocking it out while we're here." she admitted. "I don't want to hear their thoughts."
(Wait so are Alice and Ferran in an Asylum?)
(Yeah they got to the real world!)
"Its okay." He said. "I wouldn't either…we can probably get out on our own." He thought for a moment. "Can you pick a lock?"
"That depends on the lock, but not really."
"Bummer…there's probably locks all over this place." He paused. "I'll try…my dad taught me how once but that was a long time ago…"
"Can we go through the window?" she asked. "I mean… what floor is this, anyway?"
