(Idk….We need to get to safety first I think…)
(Am I supposed to do the next part…)
(Yeah, you can.)
(Okay…)
Are you almost here? Ferran asked. He was soaked from the rain.
(I have to go… again…)
(Bye! We made good progress…)
(Sigh. okay bye…)
(So just for clarification, what happens next?)
Alice appeared out of the near darkness, her wet hair sticking to the back of her jacket. “I’m right here.” She helped him stand up, and together they made their way back to the house. “Come on.”
(So just for clarification, what happens next?)
(I think they'll spend the night in the house, then the next mornin they'll try and get the others here.)
Ferran tried to push through the pain, for Alice's sake. He was finding it harder to breathe.
(Okay.)
"We're almost there, you can make it!" Alice said, in what she hoped was an encouraging tone. She waved innocently to a neighbor that looked in their direction, helping him into the house. "Okay, we're here."
Do I have to go through the window?
"What window? There's a door, silly."
Oh…
She helped him through the back door, closing and locking it behind them. Pulling out one of the dining room chairs, she sat him down. "Are you hungry?"
"Not…really…" He groaned.
(Where are they?)
(They're in the real world, and they just broke into a nearby house.)
(K)
"Okay, well I think there's a bedroom upstairs. Think you can make it up?"
"Yeah…"
"Okay, let's go…" she helped him up the stairs, but he barely made it onto the bed before collapsing. "Are you sure you're alright?"
He looked at her. "I jumped out a window, Alice…."
"Okay, okay! I get it, you're not okay. Just rest now, all right?"
He smiled weakly at her. "Thanks for dragging my sorry butt over here…."
"I couldn't just leave you there…" She smiled back. "Sleep. I'll wake you up in the morning."
