He sighed. "Alright. Just tell me if you need anything." He kissed his temple then stood and got into the drivers seat. "Everyone in?"
Kaz nodded, shifting so he was more comfortable in the seat
He started the car. "Do you have anywhere you need to go?" He asked Kaz.
Kaz frowned for a minute. "Kinda wanna run back and get my bike. And maybe grab some clothes from what's left of my room."
Malachi quickly got out of the van and told the two he would go grab the clothes so Kaz wouldn't have to strain himself again.
"We can come back for your bike." He said. He waited for the kid to get back before driving away.
Kaz huffed. "But I like that bike," he complained. He looked down at his arm, which had finally stopped bleeding. He was having a bit of difficulty seeing it, what with his lack of glasses and healing concussion, which bothered him. At least he was being taken care of
He snorted. Kaden reached over the consol and took his hand, leaving the other on the wheel. "We'll come back for it when it's safer. But it's not right now." He explained.
"Ok, fine." He thought for a moment. "There's another safehouse downtown. 'S a hotel called the Basilisk. I'm friends with the manager so maybe he'll let us stay there on discount or somethin'."
Finding the clothes, Malachi put them neatly into a bag and went back down the stairs. Despite being nearly destroyed, he shut the front door behind him anyways, running back to the van. Tossing the bag in the floor of the back seat, he climbed back into the van.
