"Well, I was born in Germany. I didn't come to the states till I was…10-ish? Maybe?" he said, doing his best to focus
"Well, I was born in Germany. I didn't come to the states till I was…10-ish? Maybe?" he said, doing his best to focus
He nodded. "Why did you come over to the states?" He asked, relaxing a little bit.
"To get away from m' dad. He's a dick. 'R was, till me n' my cousin's roommate killed him." Kaz slumped a little, tired of trying to crane his neck at Kaden. At least there was only two of the other guy in his vision now
Malachi ran over towards the three coming inside again.
"Kaz!" he exclaimed, looking at the injured man who had helped him. Forgetting the fact that Kaden had been a jerk to him before, he looked to him and Chandra both and asked, "He'll be okay, right…?"
"'M okay kiddo," Kaz said tiredly. Man, not sleeping for the past two days certainly wasn't helping him keep his eyes open right now
"He'll be fine," she said, ushering him away. "I called a doctor. They should be here soon. Kaden, sit down."
Kaz's eyes widened. "D-Doctor? No, no doctor. Please don't. I'll be ok without it, I promise."
"It's some guy in the bar, he had a medical ID. Besides, you definitely need a doctor and I will murder you myself if you claim that you don't again."
Malachi looked at Kaz. He was bleeding in so many places. "You're gonna need a doctor," he stated. Then he thought of a way to persuade him. "Your leg looks broken and unless you don't want to ride your bike anymore…"
"But I don't," Kaz whined. Honestly he knew that he really did, but his self loathing was starting to catch up to him. "Last time was just a little break. I put a knee brace on and I was fine."
"You fell from like three stories and crashed into a falling and also burning helicopter. You're half-dead. I think you need a doctor," she said drily. "Malachi, do you want more coins?"
He shook his head. This was no time for games.
"But it's expensive," he whined. "Just lemme rot on crutches somewhere. I can't pay a doctor when I have a whole damn wall to fix." Kaz managed to say this all without slurring his words or making no sense, and he was actually a little proud of himself
//who wants to be the doctor
"I'll pay," she grumbled.
Kaden smoothed down his hair. "Shh darling. It's going to be okay. Just let us take care of you." He said softly.
(welp I probably could) "Don't shush me," Kaz said grumpily, but there was no real bite in his words. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door
He chuckled. "Be good and maybe I'll reward you." He gave him a small wink and kissed his nose.
"Come in! Asshole who thinks he'll be fine is probably going to die soon, so we need your help."
"We tried that and a helicopter went through my goddamn wall," Kaz mumbled. Not waiting for someone to answer, a tall figure walked through the door. They wore an oversized camo jacket with the hood up, and they had a large backpack on.
"The doc is in."
He chuckled. "I never said it would sex." He looked over at the doctor and took him in. He turned his attention back to his darling. "How Are you feeling?"
"Fine," Kaz grumbled. The doctor walked in, taking his backpack off and setting it next to them. He grinned, brushing curly red hair out of his face.
"Well, well. Humpty Dumpty had a great fall from what I was told," he said in an overly cheerful voice. Kaz scowled at him and flipped him off
Kaden sat closer to Kaz. He didn't trust this doctor. He had trusting issues, expect, it seems for Kaz. He wasn't sure how or why the male got passed his defenses so quickly, but he had.
"Dude, just do your thing. Are you sober? You better be sober."
Kaz moved to try and get closer, but it hurt too much to move properly. The doctor's eyes, which were hidden by his hair before, were pitch black and lit up with realization. "Ooh, another one! You seem to collect lovers like marbles. Or toenails," he crooned. "Didn't the last one die? You should be careful with this one, he might break." He turned to rummage through his bag, pulling out various items that didn't quite look like conventional medical tools
"Is that one of those ancient medieval torture devices?! Are you a doctor or not?"
