For all the other people who can't seem to make a character that's not super angsty in some way. Possible gore warning, and this will probably end up being like somewhere between PG-13 and R. Swearing's cool, graphic stuff is ok, just no controlling people's characters or any Mary/Gary Sues

Name: Aiko Aimitzu
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight.
Age: 18
Species: Nephilim/half-angel.
Personality: Is kind, caring, gentle, and humble. Doesn't get angry easily but she explodes when she does. Actually very mean to people aligned with darkness. Has a few quirky behaviors. Likes to travel to exotic places, missed Japan.
Looks: Is short and light, overall very small. Has black hair that goes down a few inches past her shoulders. Her haircut is choppy in an "it's-supposed-to-be-that-way" cool style. She has been-colored yellow eyes.
Powers: I'm having trouble deciding if I should go with the much weaker pre-timeskip Aiko, or post-timeskip Aiko, who is extremely powerful. I'll post these when I decide later.
Other: Does volunteer work.
Name: Kaz Weathers
Age: Probably 24 depending on how old everyone else makes their characters
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay
Looks: Long undercut with the long part being dull reddish-brown and curly and neck length, pale, tall (6'), lots of freckles, lots of tribal tattoos on his arms, a few ear piercings he sometimes wears earrings in, looks thin but is actually decently muscular
Outfit: Faded red hoodie, black leather jacket, dog tags, wire frame glasses, cargo pants, steeltoe combat boots (not the ridiculous looking ones, the ones that're just all one dark color without spikes or any of that weird stuff)
Personality: Generally laid back, has a sort of 'second personality' that's really angry but it only really shows when he uses his powers, really kind despite his mean-looking appearance, tries to be optimistic despite being a bit depressed
Other: Half demon, his powers revolve around the weather (specifically lightning) and gravity manipulation is a sort of side effect of a lot of usage, hates using his power because it contradicts his personality and causes him to act angry, owns a motorcycle (it's a red Honda Rebel that's a bit of a fixer-upper), was in the military to help pay for his mom's healthcare, good mechanic
((I SAW ANGST
I HAVE ARRIVED))
(The thing is, I gotta pick which of my characters to rp as because they're all angsty)
(I JUST CREATED MY ANGSTIEST CHARACTER)
Name: Malachi
Age: -varies depending on age range, maybe 10-
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Looks: Messy strawberry blond hair, freckles, dark eyes, light skin, a few scales on his shoulders and upper arms.
Outfit: A dark grey t-shirt, ripped in small places on the bottom rim, a pair of medium length shorts, and often likes to go barefoot.
Personality: Shy around new people, very slow to trust, but hesitant to use his abilities because if he were to hurt people, they would fear him.
Other: People poke fun of him because of him not being entirely human. He was born of both dragon and human. When his birth mother realized that she created a monster, she told him to leave. He tried to assure his mother that things would be alright when she had begun to abuse him. He has bruises on his arm from the worst of the impacts.
Malachi ducked into an abandoned alleyway, panting from running. He ended up tripping and falling onto something sharp. It turned out to be a piece of a shattered glass bottle that someone had thrown out haphazardly. A large piece had wedged itself in his right palm. Carefully, Malachi tugged on it, making the wound sting. Taking a deep breath, he pulled it out. The gash left behind began to ooze out blood. Honestly, Malachai was quite used to it, and grabbed a tiny roll of gauze from a bag he had brought with him. It was getting pretty small and barely had enough to wrap the injury twice.
"So you need help with that?" Aiko asked, facing the young man. "I promise it won't hurt." She extended her hand, warily.
Kaz limped along the alley, covered in bruises and small cuts. He had gotten into a fight trying to help some kid when a couple muggers had tried to steal his stuff. He was sure he'd have a bit of a black eye afterwards, and a gauze-wrapped knife wound on his arm stung as he walked. He had no idea where he had parked his bike, and was getting irritated trying to find it
Malachi hadn't realized anyone had followed him. He flinched as Aiko had reached out toward him and scooted closer to the wall. He didn't want to hurt anymore.
Aiko saw this, and figured it was time to head off. She made a staircase construct our of aether, and ran up it, to the roodpf, whereupon she unmade it.
Maybe she noticed what I really am… Malachi thought pessimistically. He wanted someone to care for him, but also wanted people away from him so they wouldn't hurt him and vice versa. It was a complicated lifestyle.
