//protective sister and boyfriend
because chandra is his older sister now this decision is final-
"Oh I assure you I don't plan on hurting our little Kazoo here. You see, these are just to help me channel my ability, which happens to be healing." He looked at the tools for a moment before choosing one that looked like a large syringe, as well as a scalpel. "This should do." He took the scalpel and pulled up his sleeve, then opened the back of the syringe. He dragged the blade along his inner arm, and a strange blueish-black blood oozed from the cut and into the syringe. Kaz eyed him.
"You better fucking not. I hate needles."
(lol)
Kaden ran his hand up and down his arm in a soothing manner. And while he tried to seem calm and collected for Kaz, he was tense and ready to spring forward if he needed to.
The doctor frowned at him. "Oh suck it up, you wuss. Now take your ridiculous amount of jackets off or I won't be able to fix you." Kaz scowled at him but made an attempt at taking his jackets off. Unfortunately, he could barely move his arms.
"Help? Please?"
Kaden helped him gently take of his jacket. "Just keep your eyes on me darling and you'll be fine. Promise." He said softly.
Kaz nodded, and the doctor rolled his hoodie sleeve up until it exposed the cut on his shoulder. "This might sting a little," was the only warning they got before the doctor jammed the needle into the open wound. Kaz let out a shriek of pain and surprise, and he grabbed Kaden's hand in a death grip
Kaden bared his teeth at the doctor. He gripped his lover's hand tight and brushed bavk his hair. He leaned down and pressed his forehead to his. "Shh, I'm here."
In a moment, it was over. Kaz winced as the doctor took the syringe out and wrapped it in a towel, tossing it and the scalpel back in the bag. "Well Kazoo, that wasn't so bad. Next time you fall asleep you'll be happy and healthy." He turned to Kaden, fishing a small pouch out of his jacket. "As for you, take one of these for a few days and those ribs of yours will be good as new."
He hesitantly took the pouch and pocketed it. "If you're done now, I assume you know the way out?"
"You picked a rude one, eh? Better than a few of them, at least," the doctor said cheerfully. He tossed the impossibly large bag back on his shoulders. "Don't say I didn't do anything for you!" he called as he walked out the door.
"Fuck you too Cas," Kaz muttered, leaning against Kaden
He held him close, though was careful of his healing wounds. "Are you starting to feel better?" He asked softly.
"Little," he said, leaning back so he was resting his head on Kaden's shoulder. He frowned a little. "Y'know, you were holding a knife to my neck when we met, and now you're cuddling me. How does that happen?"
He kissed the top of his head. He shifted a little so he was comfortable. "I'm not sure. I set my sights on you and I got you. Stop questioning it."
//cause why not
(CAS IN HIS NON WIGGLE WORM FORM OMG)
Kaz chuckled. "Good t' know someone likes me." He looked down at his arm, watching a small bit of black blood ooze slowly down his arm, tracing the lines of his arms and making his tattoos shimmer oddly
(Yes that was the very same wiggle worm in his preferred alt form)
Kaden gebtly traced the tattoo, fascinated and horrified at what was happening. "Is this supposed to happen?" He asked.
"Dunno. Only taken Cas's pills before," he said. The tattoos glowed a dull green-blue like there was something inside him. He leaned a bit on Kaden more. "Don't worry 'bout me. I'll be fine."
"Yeah, well, this isn't natural. And it's happening to the guy in seeing so I'm you g to worry." He pulled him closer, as if trying to protect him from an invisible threat.
(hi sorry minor internet issues) Kaz leaned back against him. "You're too nice t' me, y'know?"
He eventually settles his hand on Kaz's stomach. "As long as it's only for you, I don't mind." He said softly. "We should probably get going, I can entirely those people come."
Kaz smiled sadly down at Kaden's hand, putting his hand in Kaden's lazily. "You're right. They won't leave us alone for a while as long as we're here. Could make a call for a ride," he suggested
