He relaxed his grip, but only slightly. He turned his attention to Kaz, thiugh still made note of Argo. "Are you feeling any better?" He asked, now that they were away from the SUV.
He relaxed his grip, but only slightly. He turned his attention to Kaz, thiugh still made note of Argo. "Are you feeling any better?" He asked, now that they were away from the SUV.
Kaz nodded. "Won't be fixed till I'm asleep for maybe 8 hours. Which hopefully won't be too difficult to accomplish." Argo turned to him, and the words "Would you like some sleeping pills?" appeared on the led-s. Kaz nodded, turning to bury his face in Kaden's chest
Kaden kissed the top of his head. "Sleep love. You need it. I'll wake you up if something happens." He said softly. He ticked Kaz's head under his chin.
Kaz smiled, resolving to stay silent. He could feel sleep start to make his eyes heavy, and Argo sighed. "This is why I offered an escort," he displayed. Slowly, they reached the lobby floor before the elevator turned to ascend back up another track. It stopped at what appeared to be the very top floor, and there was a ding. Argo stepped out, gesturing for them to follow
Kaden tried not to move the sleeping male in his arms too much as he carried him. He followed Argo, looking back to make sure the little boy was still following.
Argo stopped in front of a simple oak door. He turned, tapping his pocket and then pointing at Kaz, trying to tell Kaden to get the key out of Kaz's pocket
Kaden stared at him in confusion for a moment before it clicked. As carefully as he could, he pulled out the key and gave it to Argo.
Argo took it, and the silver key gained a starry eye-shaped opening in the larger part of it. He opened the door and gave the key back. He flicked his wrist, and the words "Call me if you need anything," appeared in a starry cloud before dissolving. He turned back to the elevator and disappeared, leaving them to the large room
He pocketed the key. He nodded. "Thank you." He slipped inside the room and closed it after all three were in the room. He walked to the bed and set Kaz down gently. He took off his shoes and undressed Kaz enough so that it would be more comfortable for him to sleep.
Kaz rolled a little, burying his face in the pillows. It was a large room, with mostly glass walls. There were several plants that hung from different spots along the glass, and it was complete with three beds and even a kitchen. It more or less looked like a larger replica of Kaz's apartment at the bar
Kaden looked around, making sure everything was okay. Then he set up a trap at any entrances so they'd be alerted if someone was trying to by in. He stripped down to his underwear then crawled into bed. Normally, he slept naked, but because there were others hw kept his underwear on.
Kaz shifted, wrapping his arms around Kaden. He seemed to be smiling a little, but you couldn't really tell if he was or if it was just the way that he was sleeping (time skip till they wake up?)
Kaden smiled and held him close. He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. (Yeah.)
Kaz woke up early, but he didn't feel like getting out of bed just yet. His arm was a little sore, but other than that it felt like all his injuries had healed. Sure, there were a few new scars, but that was to be expected. Slowly, he wriggled out of Kaden's grasp, stretching to reveal the several hidden tattoos on his shoulder and hip. He figured he may as well make breakfast, so he made his way to the kitchen
(better be a damn good one lmao)
(lol)
Kaden rolled over once Kaz had left his grasp. He left for a good few minutes before his eyes opened and he sat up. He rubbed his eyes then rolled out of bed. He padded to the kitchen and smiled when he saw Kaz there. He walked up behind him and wrapped his arms around him.
Kaz smiled as Kaden walked up to him. "Mornin' love. Any ideas for breakfast?"
Malachi was still fast asleep in the third bed. It was the softest thing he had ever laid on. In his sleep, he snuggled in deeper with one of the pillows.
He kissed his cheek. "It's been a long time since I could choose what I wanted to eat. Just make something delicious."
Kaz chuckled. "French toast it is then." He moved away, opening a few cupboards until he found everything he needed. He started to make the food, the smell of French toast already filling the kitchen
Kaden leaned back against the counter, watching him with a smile. He didn't remember a time when he had smiled so much. It was strange but… he didn't mind.
Shifting in the blankets, Malachi awoke to the smell of french toast. Yawning, he stumbled out of bed towards the sweet smell.
Chandra wandered out into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes.
Still half asleep, he sat on one of the stools by the kitchen counter. He wanted to go back to the comfortable bed, but was still enticed by the sound of food cooking. Setting his head on his crossed arms, he watched Kaz cook, eyes half lidded.
