Quinn laughed. "Alright, love, alright. Calm down." He said, his smirk flickering slightly. She doesn't approve. Of course not. He sighed. Damn hangover, making everything worse.

"I'm 16, for heaven's sake! I'm to be a governess this year! Governesses don't stand about and have conversations about - about - ugh!" She exclaimed wildly, tapping her foot and very clearly not calming down.
"About what? And there's nothing wrong with just talking. There's nothing wrong with doing it, either." He shrugged slightly.
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Of course you would say that," she said cuttingly.
Quinn pressed his lips into a thin line. "Excuse you? What do you mean by that?"
"I'm not entirely oblivious. You're not like the men are in England," she looked away. "Which, again, is strange for me - I'm going to go now."
Quinn's lip twitched. "I see." He replied calmly. "Go, then. I or someone else will come get you when it is time to leave."
Charlotte crossed her arms and walked away quickly, shaking her head to clear it. It was so strange. I'm England, sex was practically taboo. As far as most of their children knew, babies were brought by faeries. It was very odd, indeed, to have someone talk about it so openly.
Quinn sighed, and headed to his office again. To sleep. Head on the desk. So he could pretend he was working.
Charlotte arrived in her room to find a stack of clothes on her bed. Several of the dresses were pink. She wrinkled her nose and pulled out the two darkest dresses in the stack, leaving the rest in a mess. She carefully put the dresses into the bag that was also on her bed then sat down and picked her book back up.
Quinn fell asleep in his office, curled in the big chair by his desk.
Aster received his orders; he was to accompany the king and Charlotte on the journey to find her a way home.
Charlotte suddenly sat straight up. "I was getting breakfast!" She exclaimed, suddenly remembering. She got up with a sigh and rushed towards the kitchens.
Aster made his way down the hallway, and spotted Charlotte. "Lottie!" He called.
Charlotte spun. "Oh, for heaven's sake, I just wanted breakfast!" She groaned. She took a deep breath before speaking again. "What I meant was, hello."
Aster chuckled, catching up to her. "Dont go to the kitchens if you want breakfast, then. Come with me." He grinned, and beckoned to her as he started walking.
Charlotte narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms. "Fine, but if you yell at me, I'm leaving."
Aster sighed. "Why would I yell at you, Lottie?" he asked, looking back at her.
"I don't know! You keep doing it, and it's quite unpleasant," Charlotte pouted.
He sighed. "Have I actually? Hm. My apologies." He said.
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Whatever. I was promised food," she reminded him crossly.
Aster sighed dramatically. "Come along, then." He started walking again.
"Well, what in heaven's name did you think I was doing?" She asked annoyedly.
He chuckled. "Squawking at me about me yelling at you." He replied.
"That was a rhetorical question," she said through clenched teeth.
He grinned. "Oops." He kept walking.
