Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Just - stop talking. Whenever you open your mouth, I feel a desperate need to close it."
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Just - stop talking. Whenever you open your mouth, I feel a desperate need to close it."
Aster grinned. "Oh. Alright then." He said, and headed back to the castle in complete and utter silence.
Charlotte sighed. She hated silence with a burning passion, but it was better than being yelled at by the person she simultaneously wanted to kiss and kill.
Aster kept walking silently, and opened the door of the castle for her without a word. He spotted Quinn, and waved him over.
Quinn came over, crown askew on his head. "Oh good. You found her." He said.
Charlotte rolled her eyes, taking off her good before quickly grabbing her hand again. Mother Mary, that hurt.
(Lol I'm not even Christian but she's from the early 1900s, and I had to think of an acceptable replacement for SON OF A BITCH. Plus, everyone was Catholic then, right? Ok, I'll stop now.)
Aster nodded, purposefully remaining dead silent.
Quinn raised an eyebrow. "Did she rip your tongue out?" He asked dryly.
"No, I told him to shut up," Charlotte responded wryly, leaning against the wall.
Aster nodded. "Yes. So I shut up for a bit." He said.
Quinn chuckled. "I see."
Charlotte rolled her eyes again. "Smart-aleck," she muttered.
Aster sighed. "She wants to leave." He said.
Quinn frowned. "Okay. We'll see." He said simply.
Charlotte tapped her foot impatiently. "Wonderful, can I go now?"
Quinn looked at her. "No. Come with me, I'll show you your new room." He replied.
"I meant leave the room - whatever," she muttered to herself.
Quinn was silent. "Come on." He said after a moment.
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "What do you think I'm doing?"
"Rolling your eyes and muttering." Quinn replied sassily.
Charlotte sighed. "Whatever."
Quinn chuckled. "Whatever to you too, darling." He led her through the castle.
"I told you not to call me that, Princey," Charlotte tipped her head.
"Alright, sweetheart, I'll stop calling you darling." He replied.
"That's worse - haven't we been over this?" She crossed her arms.
"Nope. You judt said to stop calling you darling. You said nothing about other names." Quinn replied.
"No, I specifically remember telling you to cease the use of any and all pet names," Charlotte argued, tapping her fingers against her am.
"No, you said darling." He argued.
"Fairly certain you're wrong," Charlotte argued lightly.
