Eric coughed awkwardly when Agis called him pretty, worrying at his lip. He wrapped his arms around his waist. If I cough up a toad thing on this boy I will actually die. "No, uh, I wasn't overheating. Do you not blush, or…? Is that not a fae thing?"

"Well, our blood isn't red, so we technically blush, just not prominently," Agis explained, giving a sharp-toothed smile when Eric coughed, this mortal was funny.

Eric smiled. He was starting to get a little more comfortable, despite how attractive the boy - man? fae? - was, and how distinctly other his presence felt. "Is it silver or something? That would make sense, with your whole light aesthetic."

"Yes, it does have a silvery hue." Agis nodded as he closed his teeth-filled mouth with a quieet snap.

"That's pretty cool." Eric's eyes flickered towards Agis's sharp canines. That's kinda hot. He tried his best not to think of what those teeth might feel like if they kissed, if Agis's mouth slipped lower, past his jaw, to his pulse point, and-
Eric wet his lips and looked away, tugging at the skin around his fingernails.

Agis gave a small laugh at Eric's weak response, it was like watching a bunny hop around in a tiny cage, kinda pathetic, but adorable. "I suppose so, though it is a pretty common occurrence in Fae, though the common Faeries only have the gold-tinted blush." He continues.

Eric nodded awkwardly and looked around. "So, what are we supposed to be doing, exactly?"

"I am not entirely sure, as we were not told. What do you think, bunny?" Agis asked, giving another sharp-toothed smile.

Eric bristled. "If you knew what I could do, you wouldn't be so quick to call me that." He leaned in as the teacher passed by them. "Sorry, none of us is a telepath. What are we supposed to be doing?"

The teacher knelt by Eric and, taking his hand, shut her eyes. A moment passed. "There. You now have part of my power. It isn't strong, and will not leave this room, but it is enough for this exercise. Try to break into your partner's mind, and they have to stop you." She said all this staring Eric in the eye, and she finally turned to look at Agis.
Your pride will be your ruin, Fae. Do not underestimate this boy. And with that, she headed off to another pair.

Eric looked at where her hand had touched his, and he looked as the veins pulsed black under his skin and the nails turned yellow and long. He shook his hand, annoyed and a little embarrassed. Not now.
He looked at Agis. His mind felt….different. Less between his ears and more like something that could reach out, alive and thrumming, and touch other's minds. "I don't really know how this works, but I'll do my best. Are you ready?"

"Hmph." Agis muttered, giving a dirty look to the teacher. His mind would not be broken, he trained for years, every Fae did. Hm, I have suddenly decided I don't like her. Strange. He thought to himself.

Eric wet his lips. "Am I supposed to touch you, or…?" He felt ridiculous the second the words left his mouth. "No, of course not."

"I suppose so, it wouldn't hurt to try." He shrugged, somehow making a shrug seem graceful and poised. "Touch away" Agis said.

Eric narrowed his eyes slightly, getting a sudden feeling that Agis wanted him to do it. He shrugged it off, not knowing if it was true.
"Alright." He reached out and laid a careful hand on the boy's soft knuckles, sliding his fingers onto his pulse point. His skin was cold. Of course it's cold, you idiot, he doesn't have blood.
Eric breathed in and closed his eyes. He gently stretched out his mind, feeling coiled presences around him. The biggest one was the teacher's, and it positively hummed with collected otherness. He focused on Agis. It had a glimmering aura to it, something that sung in a wordless tongue, beseeching him to look, but stay away. He uncoiled a bit more, then made contact.
