Res listened to this impassively until the end. Then, "That's really freaking sweet. That's a romance story in itself, Eric."

Eric bristled, his ears burning. "We just met. Yeah, we're going on a date, yeah, he's hot as fuck, but he's shady and he keeps avoiding answering my questions. He tried to trick his way out of telling me a secret in return for one of mine. Like I was some idiot."

Res bit her lip, gaze flitting to the ground. "Alright. Fine, you raise some good points. But I believe in soulmates, so excuse me for interpreting your, and I quote, intimate magical contact."

Eric pursed his lips and looked away. "Shut up," he murmured sheepishly. He turned and called Agis's name.

Res's mouth dropped open in indignation but she said nothing, only crossed her arms and schooled her features into a proud openness.

Agis looked up and turned his head, waving a bit. "You all finished talking?" He asked.

Eric nodded and motioned to the hallway. "Come on, we gotta get to class."

"Alright. I'll see you later." Agis said, brushing past the both of them with a gracefully step of his legs, then, he was gone.

(sorry I've got exams so I'll rarely be on, you can take over Res if you like when I'm away)
"So…" Res started, swaying back and forth on the balls of her feet. "You want to talk about it some more?"

(np dude, i'll wait for you)
Eric flushed and looked at the ground. "Let's just go to class."

Res nodded slightly, a coy smile splitting her face. "If you say so."
She happily started towards a classroom a couple doors down.
