Eric scoffed. "Your name is Agis. And I'd rather have something that gives me an indication as to why I shouldn't cancel our date and leave."

"You really don't think I would put my actual name on a school registry, names have power Eric." Agis laughed a bit, his laugh like bells.

Eric whined a little under his breath, then sighed. "Fine. Tell me your real name. In a full sentence. 'My real, birth-given name is…'."

"My real birth-given name is…" Agis leaned over to Eric and whispered something in his ear, his breath tickling Eric's cheek.

Eric stopped himself from shivering and glanced at Agis's mouth as he leaned back. "Okay. I'll take that." He looked at everyone else. They all seemed quite engaged in their mental exercises. "Would it be enough if I told you what my powers are? Very few people know about them."

"I suppose so, though I know it has something to do with either venom or poison, as you smell like that." Agis replied, smilibg internally at the reaction he had gotten from Eric.

Eric tilted his head. "You're not wrong, but uh, it's a little more than that."
He stretched his hand out and let the blackness seep into his arm, let the bones stretch out garishly, let the skin stretch taut and slick over his gnarled knuckles. His fingernails turned yellow and lengthened to sharp points. He breathed in deeply, his eyes burning as they turned a uniform shade of amber.
He smiled with sharp teeth. "That's just a little taste of it. This morning I found out I can spit out these small frog-lookin' things that just show up in my guts. I think my saliva becomes poisonous after I do that. Hence the smell."

"Intresting." Agis muttered, grabbing the hand and holding it up to eye level. "It's almost like a Gemaontu, a cursed human, by a few of course. The main difference is that the Gemaontu become frenzied and lose all free will." He hummed, running his fingers over the nails.

Eric raised his eyebrows, snatching his hand back neatly, despite the pleasant softness of Agis's fingers. He stared at it as the skin turned smooth and pale again.
"I've never turned fully, but I'm sure I'd keep my wits. And I'm still human. From the research I did, there are people whose powers get triggered by traumatic events. And then I got mine. So here I am."

"I suppose so, it's intriguing." Agis said, eyes tracing the hand even though it wasn't near him. "If you ever do turn fully, give me a call, I'd love to study the effects." He muttered, fingers tapping on the desk.

Eric ran his tongue over the now-smooth edges of his teeth. "I'm sure you mean well, but I'm not a lab rat, thanks." He looked around. "Are we done?"

"Ooh! Did your teeth change? Can I see them?" Agis asked, not hearing Erics response, that or he was ignoring it.

Agis looked a but sad, his head down. "Alright." He lifted his face back up, his regular cold smirk back in place. "I belive we have completed the assignment."

Eric nodded.
The teacher stood up. "Students, class is over. Please proceed to your next class."
