Eric looked at Kikiro. "If he doesn't come back in 30 seconds, I'm going over there to take him back. I'm not a coward, but I don't wanna fuck with these kids."
Jasper leaned in, black eyes shimmering. "You know what I can do with this, right?" he said, holding up one of Blair's hairs.
Lander knew he was playing with fire but he reached across Jasper and snatched the hair from his hand. "Now now Jasper, play nice." Sasha jumped off of his lap as he stood. He was slightly shorter than the boy but the confidence that rolled off of him was enough to make up for it. "I suggest you go sit back down. It's like Shay said, we don't want to cause trouble early on do we? Now make like the rat you are and scurry away."
Jasper narrowed his eyes at Lander, but said nothing. After all, it was in a weak person's nature to have a limit. He'd personally never had one, except how convenient acting on his urges would be. This time, he could see nothing to prevent him from summoning a demon and binding it to the city scum, filling his sleep with night terrors until he was driven mad.
(we should wait for blair i think)
(D: we were on a rollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll)
(I mean it'd be fine if Shay did something else if you want)
Blair laughed, quickly muttering a quick spell and the hair burst into flames, not hot enough to hurt anyone, but hot enough to burn the hair. "If the rat tries anything, attack. If they attack I want you to try and get away as soon as possible, I can't have you hurt." He told Goldie using their bond. "And because I was raised on the streets, I have street smarts and my spells."
(Hmmm. I shall think on it. Question though: are they waiting for a Headmaster or someone to come make a speech and start the term? Then they go to classes like Hogwarts? Alsooooooooo do they live on campus? I'm curious and obviously overly excited about this rp)
(Oh yeah sorry it's a boarding school sorry. The dorms are groups of three. And yeah the headmaster will come to make a speech soon. Then they will go to their classes but they won't be doing any actual learning yet)
"You have knock off magic and the skills of a common human." Shay said, leaning back and dissipating his spell. He didn't fell like wasting his magic today. Or showing off, despite the two pretty street rat girls staring at their group. "Please go back to your people, you're annoying us with your presence." Layla fluttered back up to his shoulder, as he waved dismissively at the boy.
Mre had stayed quiet up til now, Jer curled up in his lap. "I think you should go." He said softly, pointing over to where the other new kids were.
Blair, of course, ignored Mre. "My people?" He shook his head like he couldn't belive it. "My mama and papa were part of the old bloodlines but I was raised by people on the streets who had the same amount of power any of you. Do you know why they were living on the street? Becuase of people like you, people who think upbringing is the only thing that matters in this world." Blair snarled before turning away and walking back, but not before giving them the middle finger.
(Aster @ Shay: Begone Straight™ boi thot!)
"By the gods, finally," Lander muttered, sitting back down. "These people need to learn their place, or we are going to have some serious issues."
"Blair!" Aster hissed. "Why did you do that? Are you trying to get yourself killed? Or shunned? Or expelled? No one wants us here, don't give them a reason to kick us out!" She pleaded. Cagney slithered back to her and wrapped himself up on her lap. She stroked his head, worried.
Blair was already gone, his midle finger still up becuase he's a little bitch. He plopped back down on his chair, resting his feet on his bag. "That took all my self control not to inject venom into their veins." He muttered to himself. "And I did that, Aster, becouse it's better to throw the first punch then it is to feel it."
Mre on the other hand was watching him walk off. "Well that could've gone better." He muttered as he turned to the group. "We could at least have met his brashness with politenses."
Aster sucked her lip as her eyebrows knitted together. "Yeah, but we didn't know they were gonna do anything to us in the first place." She looked behind her. "Well, most of them. I don't like the look of that one with the ferret."
"Hey, he was looking for a fight, we needed to show him that wasn't a good idea," Lander told Mre. "That's all. We can't let people like him get away with shit like that."
"Attention students!" The headmaster stood on the stage and yelled out into the theater. "I would like to welcome you to the first day of term!" The theater burst into half-hearted applause.
(i missed all the excitement bc of school ://)
Olive glanced from where the street rats were sitting back to the front, a sigh almost escaping her lips. Here we go, she thought. Then added mentally, about the earlier confrontation,Hope that loser doesn’t try anything because it would be a shame to get rid of him so early.
Archer couldn’t believe Blair’s audacity, on the first day even! He preferred to think things through calmly before pulling something as dumb as that. And now, more than likely, the group of privileged little shits was going to be angry at them. Great.
(This in, Blair is a dumbass bitch.)
Shay watched the street rat boy walk away, desperately holding onto his dignity by flipping off the group. He snorted, inelegantly. "Mouthy, aren't they?" He asked no one in particular. But he had to give the kid points for tenacity. "He sure showed us didn't he?" Shay joked to Layla, reaching down to stroke her back. Her feathers ruffled a bit on her chest, a sign of displeasure. "Be careful Shay. It's not wise to create your own enemy."
Kikiro turned away from both groups to give her attention to the Headmaster, her sullen look back in place. But mentally, her thoughts were reeling. She didn't know that there was such a divide between the types of magic. Such a silly one at that. The Yamazunas were a old bloodline as well, and yet the way she was taught her magic makes her a second class citizen? Calcifer returned to her lap with a soft meow, just as Kikiro scowled. Just another thing to deal with on top of her 'bastard' title. She exhaled silently, petting her familiar until he purred. "My magic is strong. I have nothing to fear."
The second the rat left, Jasper turned to Lander. "Never undermine me like that again," he snarled. "If I wanna hurt someone, I'll do it. You'd better not get in the way."
Eric reached over and pushed Blair lightly. "The hell did you have to do that for? I don't want any enemies. We literally just came here."
Blair shrugged. "I have a death wish, what can I say." He laughed, Goldi smacked his head with her tail.
“Clearly,” added Archer, looking slightly annoyed. He had wanted to go up to the “old bloodline” kids too, but he had the self-restraint to not do that.
Relax and cut him some slack, Bellamy sighed.
I can do that as long as he doesn’t do something that will get us all killed, Archer told his familiar semi-sarcastically, but calmed down anyway.
(The title says one spot left. Is that still available? And if so could I join please?)
(Yeah totally! Just do two characters please)
(Sure! I’ll get on it tomorrow)
