Blair did so, he wasn't going to reply anyway. That went a lot better than expected, good, I want to get on at least one teacher's good side. He thought with satisfaction.
Mre looked at Blair like he was insane as he flipped to the page the professor had said. This dude is more of an idiot than I thought.
Sylvain smiles at Blair.
“You’d better show him,” he whispered, “Show all of them what you’re made of.”
Risa looked a little surprised, but shrugged all of this off pretty quickly.
“Hope that guy doesn’t fail him before we even get started,” she muttered, “But then again, it would also be a shame for these amateurs to find out the hard way that they don’t belong.”
"I will, my plan is to get the top of the class." Blair whispered back before turning back to the front of the room.
Mre just shook his head in wonder as he wrote in his notebook. This was one of his favorite classes, right under Herbology.
Olive giggled. “It’d be kind of funny though if they got kicked out that fast. Let’s make a bet about how long it takes before one of them is expelled or something.”
Archer smiled slightly with relief that nothing bad had happened. He didn’t want anything to happen to his friends on the first day (or any day, for that matter).
Eric rubbed at his face with an exhausted expression. "One day, you're gonna get yourself killed," he said to Blair, flipping through his book. He reached page twenty and made a face. "Nevermind, I'm gonna die along with you. At least we'll be in hell together."
Jasper huffed as the tension lifted. He'd hoped Tarrent would reprimand the rat in some way, but the incompetent idiot even seemed impressed. He ran a hand through Cleaver's fur. "No matter. We'll knock him down a peg or two eventually."
