Teylie was already awake and rushing around her house, getting ready for work and her college classes. She had a backpack in one hand and a piece of toast in the other, eating and grabbing all her books and supplies that she needed for the day. She was wearing a pair of black jeans and a colorful music themed shirt, her hair was braided back and she was wearing a pair of old sneakers, her go-to outfit for any day.
(Could you continue? Felix really isn’t gonna change ^*^)
(Sureeee)
She finally finished throwing everything in her bag. She zipped it up and grabbed her keys and wallet, flicked off the lights and ran out the door "Hi Felix." She waved to him and smiled slightly as she jumped into her car, "Sorry I can't talk right now, I have work and school, I'll be back at five!" she started her car and drove off, her music already blasting from her car.
(Thanks!)
Felix didn’t flinch from the music. Nor did he move, obviously, or speak. He didn’t move all throughout the day as he was pushed, goustled through the crowd, jeered at and victimized.
Soon five o’ clock rolled around, the early dusk rising his head.
(Sry it's short, I'm super busy rn,)
Teylie soon came driving back down the road, a smile on her face and her music playing loudly. She glanced over at Felix and smiled lightly.
(It’s okay.)
Felix didn’t smile back. He just stared aimlessly, dully, as if something deep down were broken. He didn’t even look at her or acknowledge her.
Teylie parked her car and walked into her house, grabbing some fruit snacks and dumping her bag on the floor. She walked back outside and crossed the street, sitting down on the sidewalk by Felix's legs. "Today sucked," she said and glanced up at his face "You agree? I feel like today want that fun for you either.."
A bird flew over and landed on Felix’s shoulder. It twittered down at her, pointing its beak at her snacks. The bird fluffed itself out.
Felix took no notice.
She smiled up at the bird "You want one?" she grabbed one from the package and set it down on the ground a little ways away from herself.
The bird twittered and flew over to it, gobbling it up happily. It tweeted and hopped back over to her.
Teylie laughed happily and set another one on the ground, this time a little closer to herself, "Well Felix, my day just got better, how about yours?" She smiled up at the frozen guy and sighed "You know, I wish you were alive, or at least have some way to tell that you are alive, a finger twitch or a breath or blinking or something.." she leaned her head against Felix's legs and smiled again.
Nothing from the Statue Man. But the bird seemed to be very happy with the couple gummies she gave it.
Teylie set her last two of her three gummies out for the bird and looked at Felix "Do you want one?" she held the gummy out to him and set it at his feet, "Now, don't eat it, Mr. bird." she smiled at the bird and pointed to the gummy.
The bird gobbled up the few gummies she gave it and hopped over to the one she gave to Felix, twittering in interest, tilting its little head this way and that.
"No…that's for Felix, not for you." She smiled and shook her head, "I have more at my house if you want some," she patted Felix on the arm, "Well, I'm going to go inside and start on my homework…college is tough.."
Felix didn’t say anything. Nor agree. He just stood. He was impassive when the bird gobbled up his gummy, too.
Teylie sighed and waved to Felix, "I promise I'll come back tomorrow, armed with paper and a pencil," she smiled one last time nd jogged across the street and into her house, immediately starting on her homework.
(The next afternoon probably, and I can start if you want.)
(Np!)
Teylie drove back to her house and glanced over at Felix, smiling happily. She had a sketchpad next to her in her car and she quickly parked, jumping out and jogging over to Felix, paper and pencils in hand.
Unsurprisingly, he didn’t react. He just stood there. He didn’t blink, wave, smile or say anything. He just stared unblinkingly, his clothes still as neat as a pin.
Teylie sat criss-crossed by Felix, smiling like a little kid with candy. "Hey Felix! guess what I have.." she raised the pad of paper and started drawing him, humming lightly.
Well, that’s a clever way to find a drawing model. Just find a random dude on the side of the street, staring endlessly at something.
Teylie glanced up at Felix every so often as she finished her sketch, happy to spend her afternoon drawing.
He wasn’t very hard to draw, but his sharp features proved difficult by default. Especially at the angle she had him at.
"You know," She said as she looked up at him, "You have a very difficult face to draw.." Teylie erased his nose for the fourth time and looked up at him again "I cant draw it right.." she tried again and smiled "That'll have to do.."
It just didn’t do justice to his pointed nose. It seemed so perfect, while on the page it was awkward and fuzzy.
