“It’s just the after effects of the… episode, I’ll be fine soon.”
“You sure?” He asked, looking down at her.
(Morning!)
(Morning :)
(How are you?)
Macha nodded unsteadily, giving him a light squeeze before pulling away. “Did you eat yet?”
(Pretty good. Hbu?)
“Yeah a little. Are you sure you don’t want anything?”
(Worried about my friend)
Macha made to shake her head again, but then her stomach growled loudly.
(Aw I’m sorry. I hope they get better.)
“C’mon. You’re eating.” He said, picking her up and carrying her downstairs.
(So do I)
Macha stifled a help of surprise when Tyler scooped her up, wrapping her arms around his neck so she wouldn’t fall.
Tyler smiled a little and held her tight as he took her down the stairs.
Macha was cramped all over, and she focused on not letting her legs wobble when he set her down. She looked down at her forearms. There wasn’t a trace of the golden dunes that had burned their hours before. What their was a trace of, was the intense pain she felt when the cracks in her skin widened.
"Is there anything, anything I can do?"
Macha shrugged, the gesture coming out much less casual than she’d hoped for. “I usually just wait it out. Sorry for making you worry.”
"Don't be sorry. Never be sorry." He got her something to eat and handed it to her. "But you have to eat."
Macha eyed the sandwich, knowing she wouldn’t be able to stomach it. Just for Tyler, she took a bite, forcing it down. “I think….”, she started after a pause, “My mother…. she said— apparently when the cracks cover my whole body, I…. die.”
"Oh, well then..we can't let that happen."
Macha kept her eyes on the floor, taking another half-hearted bite of her sandwich. Blood. Screams. Tyler. She’d had that last vision multiple times, but she’d never remembered it… until now. Blood. Tyler.
"Macha..let me help you.." He said, taking the plate from her and holding her close to his chest.
Macha relaxed into him. “It’s not a big deal… you have bigger problems..”
"It is a big deal. You're first priority, i'm fine."
“But why— why should I be first priority?” Macha roped her arms around his middle. “This isn’t really an— unusual occurance for me.”
"Because I care about you. And I want you to be safe and happy. It's unusual occurrence for me though, and I want you to be okay."
She smiled a little. “But I feel the same way.”
"But i'm fine right now." He smiled a bit too, holding her closer to him.
“Well, so’my.” She presses a kiss to his cheek.
"Are you sure?"
