Macha replied by crushing her mouth against his, hands bracing his head.
Macha replied by crushing her mouth against his, hands bracing his head.
Tyler kissed her back hard and pushed her back a little, one hand pressed against the bed behind her.
Macha, caught by surprise, fell backwards onto her back. “Are we going to do this every morning?”, she asked breathlessly.
"If you want.." He smiled, pulling her back up and holding her close.
Macha nestled into him, smiling from ear to ear. "Do you?"
“What do you think?” He laughed softly.
Macha pressed a gentle kiss to his jaw, heart fluttering. "That we're probably never going to go anywhere at his rate.", she teased lightly, tucking her arms up against his chest.
Tyler laughed and hugged her close, filling up with her warmth.
Macha squeezed him back. “You hungry?”
Tyler shrugged. “Sure, what do you want?”
“Do you have pancakes? Or waffles?” Macha reluctantly peeled herself away from him, pushing herself off the bed and tugging her sweater down. She’d always slept in a simple sweater, loose bra, and pyjama pants.
“Of course. Ima great cook.” He smiled, rolling off the bed.
“Mm.” She slipped her hand into his and pulled him down the stairs.
Tyler stumbled slightly down the stairs but laughed at his own clumsiness. “Slippery. The stairs are…”
Macha laughed lightly— everything was light today, she felt like she was floating— and steadied him. “C’mon, clumsy. Breakfast time.”
“Breakfast time..” He mimicked quietly, walking into the kitchen.
(Morning)
Once in the kitchen, Macha looked around the unfamiliar room, unsure. She had no idea where anything was. This is going to take some time to get used to.
(How are you?)
Tyler slid around, grabbing the things he would need. “You want to help me?”
(Good, you?)
“Sure. Er.. where is everything? It’s goikg to take me a while to get re-oriented.” She opened the refrigerator, staring for a moment at the quantity of food. “Wow.”
(Pretty good)
Tyler walked over to her and peered into the fridge. “What?”
“Nothing.. it’s just…” Macha faltered. “I’m not used to this much food.”
“Oh..well now you can be..” He smiled, kissing her on the cheek.
Macha smiled back, nodding slowly. "Yeah. What do we need?"
“Mm eggs, milk, butter, I think that’s it for the cold stuff, I can get the other things.”
Macha removed the ingredients from the fridge after some rummaging around, setting them on the counter. It was so strange, to be living in a house where none of the floorboards were missing, the windows weren't cracked, and water didn't drip down from the ceiling.
