"A-are they always true?"
"They've always– they've always happened so far." Macha swallowed. "But the blood– it wasn't yours–"
"But..that means..no. No. I won't let anything happen to you.."
Macha shook her head, looking away. "I don't know exactly what will happen.", she said quietly, "And I don't remember all of it. Anything could happen."
"Not to you. I won't let it." He frowned, pulling her into his arms.
Macha let him, laying her head on his shoulder. "I don't know what will happen.", she repeated again. Blood. There was a lot of blood. She didn't mean to transmit the thought into his head.
Tyler frowned deeply and pulled her closer. Not if I can help it.
Macha jumped. Sorry. I didn't mean to transmit that.
"C'mon, you need rest." He said, walking upstairs with her by his side.
Macha would've protested, but she didn't have the strength. Fractured images blinked in and out of existence in her minds eye, an unearthly scream, a blinding flash of light, a little girl with fire rippling under her skin before she— Macha forced the memory down, collapsing on the bed.
Tyler laid down next to her, wrapping his arms around her and trying to transmit calming thoughts into her head.
Macha curled up tighter, breathing slowly calming until she fell asleep.
Tyler smiled a little when he heard her breath even out. He laid there for a while, going over the events of this afternoon in his head.
(skip?)
(sure. You can skip to wherever.)
( love your pfp btw)
Macha's eyes flew open, heart pounding as she struggled to come to her senses and sit up. Blood. Screams. Tyler.
(yeee thanks. Sanders sides and lgbtq+ pride, my favorite things)
Tyler sat up quickly and looking worriedly over at Macha. "What's wrong?"
(Same tho)
Macha blinked, trying to pull herself back together. “Dream. I’m fine. What time is it?”
"You slept through dinner. Do you want anything?"
Macha shook her head, ignoring her complaining stomach. “Did you eat??” She still felt shaky all over, but tried her best to ignore it.
“Macha..are you okay?” He squeezed her hand gently.
“I’m fine— just.. just shaky. Did you eat?” Macha averted her gaze, clenching her hands into fists to stop them from shaking. “I’m fine.”, she repreated, more to herself than to him.
Tyler grew more worried and pulled her over to him, wrapping his arms around her gently.
Macha swallowed. “Honestly, Tyler, I’m fine.” She wanted to lean into him so badly, but guilt turned her stomach. Stop being a burden.
"I'm worried about you..I want to help you. Please let me.."
