“Y.. Yeah, it's fine..” he said and let himself down “ill be back..”
“Y.. Yeah, it's fine..” he said and let himself down “ill be back..”
Gonta nodded in response to the comment as he watched Kiibo leave the room. He wasn't suspicious of Maki, but he was a bit worried about Kiibo. He knew that something was bothering his lover, but he couldn't ask about it since the other had already left the room. He just told himself that if Kiibo wasn't back in an hour, he would go look for him.
An hour had well overpassed, and no one had heard the blood-curtailing screams escaping kiibo in a muted room
(Love the angst art that you sent. Great)
By that point, Gonta had grown to be rather concerned about his lover. He looked at the other students in the room, hoping that they could help him find the other. If anything was going to hurt anyone, he would protect them. He just wanted some ideas as to where his lover could've gone.
"Guys…Kiibo is still gone…" he stated, his tone laced with concern. "Where is he…? Gonta is worried…"
Kokichi sighed as he looked at the other. "Let's see, he ran off with Maki an hour ago and hasn't returned since. My best bet is that she's using her assassin talent to kill him," he stated. While he originally made the statement to mess with Gonta, he quickly realized that it was likely the truth.
"I know that Maki dislikes most people, even me now that we're dating, Kichi, but she never had a reason to hate Kiibo," Kaito stated. "If you want to say she did it to bother Gonta, that doesn't add up, either. You'd have to be seriously messed up to want to see him upset!"
"Kai, now's not the time. I said that to tease him, but I think it's true… I've been trying to contact Kiibo the entire time, but I've gotten no responses…" the other explained. "We need to find where Maki took him! Come on!"
Shuichi nodded in response to the statement. "Although I can't confirm a motive, with Rantaro gone, it appears that Maki made sure he would be gone before doing this. It's strange that she did this at all, but what's concerning is I think that Kokichi's right. We need to find Kiibo!"
As soon as Gonta heard Kokichi's statement, he had already run out the door, so the three of them were discussing everything without him. However, once the three noticed that he was gone, they ran out of the room to find him. Once they did, they determined that they had to find Kiibo.
(Take over as some of them. I just did this so you know who's all there)
Shuichi checked most of the classrooms, yelling out kiibos name. He was worried, just like the others, but he needed to stay calm all the same
“KIIBO”
Since none of the others were sure about what to do, thye followed the detective around, hoping that he could find some sort of clue. Even though Kaito used to be close to Maki and Kokichi was used to fighting with her, the two were clueless about where she would have taken Kiibo. Any room that he would have been in was completely empty.
"Shuichi…" Gonta sighed softly, growing worried, "will we find Kiibo…? If Kokichi's right…is he…dead…?"
As Kokichi heard Gonta ask that, he couldn't help but sigh. He only meant the statement to tease the other, but he was going to admit that it was a joke right after. However, he couldn't when it truly was the situation that they were dealing with. He didn't mean to upset someone who he actually considered to be a friend. Of course, in the end, his statement was the reason why they even knew that something was wrong, but he still felt bad about it.
"Gonta, look, we will find him, and he can't be dead," he assured the other. He wasn't sure of that himself, but with his talent of lying, he kept that easily hidden. "I mean, he's a robot. Can they even die? Worst Maki can do is disassemble him, but he'll be alright, I promise."
Of course, Maki could destroy things that were vital for Kiibo to function, wipe his memory, and other things, but he didn't mention the possibilities. Gonta was concerned as it was. If he mentioned the possibility that they may not get Kiibo back, things would only get worse.
"Now, come on, Shumai, we've gotta find him already!" he yelled to the detective. "Any other ideas where she might be? Unlike Kai, she still likes you, so…"
Shuichi thought for a moment” the soundproof room, the one used for band,”
Kokichi nodded in response to the statement. The more that he thought about it, the more sense that it made for Maki to go to the soundproof room. If she wanted to torture someone, going to a room where no one would hear her victim's screams was perfect.
"Alright, good thinking, Shu!" he exclaimed as he rushed in the direction of that room. "Of course, Maki is the Ultimate Assassin, so she's gonna put up a fight, but we have Gonta on our side. If she's not focused on him, he'd easily be able to defeat her," he said as he gave a look to Gonta. "By the way, I know you don't like fighting, but when it comes to saving your loved ones, fighting is the right thing to do. Protecting them is the best thing that you can do."
While he would usually come up with random lies to get Gonta to do things that he wouldn't otherwise do, in that situation, he was speaking the truth. While he did need to get Gonta to fight, he said the comment to assure the other that doing so was okay. There was no lie behind it that time. All he wanted was for the other to know that fighting was perfectly fine if it was to protect others.
As they ran towards the soundproof room, Gonta nodded in response to Kokichi's statement. He was a bit unsure if he should fight or not, but he decided that if it was to protect his friends and save his lover, then it was perfectly fine. As long as it meant that he got Kiibo back safely and prevented the others from being harmed, things would be just fine in the end. All he wanted was to be back with his lover.
Shuichi opened the door to the room, his breath caught in his throat as he saw the sight that had unfolded “ko.. Maybe gonta shouldn't come in..”
Kokichi was confused by Shuichi's statement at first, but before he could ask, he stepped inside to see what was going on. Maki was in the middle of completely disassembling Kiibo, but he wasn't shut off. He wasn't powered on, either, as if the pain actually caused him to shut down for a while. One of his arms was completely detached. To maximize the suffering, it was taken off in pieces, too. His other arm was partially removed, and his chest had been opened. It seemed like Maki was severing some of the wires inside and trying to make sure he would never function after this. It was a gruesome sight. All of the oil on the ground looked like blood. It looked like a murder in progress.
"It…might be better if we keep him outside…" he whispered to Shuichi. "This…this would traumatize him…"
“ It's already traumatized kiibo. “ shuichi mumbled weakly
Though shuichi didn't feel the giant come up behind him, the poor detective could only look at his disassembled friend
Maki laughed slightly as she severed more wires “happy birthday kiibo~” she said almost so sweetly it was sickening
Kokichi nodded. The experience would definitely leave Kiibo traumatized, and it would do the same to Gonta if he saw what was occurring. He wished that his friend didn't have to suffer like he was, but none of them said anything when Maki came to get him. In fact, he went with her himself, though Kokichi noted that Gonta seemed to notice his discomfort. Why would he go if he knew what to expect?
"This definitely traumatized him. There's no denying that one…" he sighed softly. "You know, I wonder why Kiibo went with her. He knew what to expect, and even Gonta noticed that he appeared to be uncomfortable with her there… Speaking of him, where did he go? If Kai's still around, he needs to stop him from getting in here. We can't let him see this…"
However, while the two were having their little discussion, Gonta made his way towards the door and eventually entered the room. The sight of Maki severing Kiibo's wires and completely taking him apart left him upset. It hurt him to see his lover in such a condition, and it was only worse that he was witnessing it. He didn't understand why Maki would do something like this. Why did she want to get rid of Kiibo so badly? It didn't make sense.
"Stop it!" he yelled, his tone pleading. "Maki, stop it! You're hurting him!"
He didn't want to start a fight unless he absolutely had to. If he could get Maki to stop, he would. If it required violence, he would resort to that, but he didn't want to. The sight of Kiibo's body, now in pieces, as Maki continued to sever his wires, was heartbreaking. He felt tears forming in his eyes, and he quickly let them fall. He almost felt like it was his fault for letting this happen to Kiibo, and he still didn't understand why anyone wanted to hurt him.
Maki jumped when she heard gonta “oh hi buddy~ like what you see~?” she taunted
Gonta looked at her for a moment, but he quickly looked away since he couldn't bear to look at his lover in the condition that he was in. He didn't want to see the other hurt like that, and to think that he was witnessing it happen. He had to do something, but he didn't know what to do. Was fighting really going to stop Maki? He had considered her a friend until witnessing that, but he still would forgive her if she apologized. His overly trusting nature continued to prevent him from doing much.
Kokichi sighed softly as he witnessed that. He was aware that Gonta didn't want to fight someone who he still considered a friend, but he wondered how he could still forgive her after what he was witnessing. It concerned him to some extent. How could anyone be that forgiving? He was aware that he just wanted to make people happy and all, but sometimes, not everyone would like him. He needed to accept that as well as the fact that it was okay to fight.
"Gonta, stop standing there!" he requested. "Do something! Maki's not your friend! She's trying to kill your boyfriend! Fighting is justified here!"
As the other heard those words, he felt conflicted for a moment, although he realized that Kokichi was right. He glared at Maki, prepared for a fight. If she didn't listen to him this time, he would no longer hold back. He had to save his lover no matter what it would take.
"Maki!" he yelled. "Stop! Gonta won't let you hurt Kiibo! If you continue…well, Gonta will have to fight…!"
Maki laughed, not believing he would do it “do you wanna die?” she snarled, snapping more wires and a memory card, one of the few kiibo had.
(I may have been on a call with someone, so sorry about that!)
Gonta stood there for a moment as he watched Maki snap more wires and one of Kiibo's memory cards. While none of them knew, the one that she snapped had yet to be used, so they could get a replacement for it, and none of Kiibo's memories had been lost. but the possibility was there in everyone's minds. The thought of Maki doing that finally sent him into a rage, and he lunged at the assassin.
"Leave Kiibo alone!" he demanded. "Please…! Gonta doesn't want to keep fighting, but if you continue hurting Kiibo, he has no choice."
Kokichi was surprised when Gonta lunged towards Maki, but he was proud of the other. It was clear that the other still didn't want to fight, but progress had been made. He wanted to resolve it without violence, but he was willing to fight if he needed to.
"Good job, Gonta!" he told the other. "In this situation, fighting's a good idea! Now go save your boyfriend!"
Maki seemed shaken but continued to try and hurt kiibo. This time, she had snapped his most recent chip, the one from today.
Koi is body made a low beeping sound, more oil pushing out as his body tried to restart
Gonta growled at Maki as he finally tackled her to the ground. It was then and there that he realized that he would have to fight. She wasn't going to stop if he asked her to, and if he didn't act quickly, Kiibo would die or be altered in a way where he would never be the same. He didn't want to lose his boyfriend, so he had to do whatever was necessary to save him from dying or permanently changed.
Maki coward down “gonta! Stop! You're hurting me!” she said as she struggled
Gonta got off of Maki after a moment, although he continued to glare at her. If she tried anything again, he was going to have to attack her again, although he was still a bit hesitant to. It was why he backed off almost as soon as he was asked to. If the assassin could confirm that she'd stop trying to kill Kiibo, he would leave her alone. However, if she continued with her plan, he would attack her again and prevent her from hurting Kiibo further.
“My damage is done,” she hissed before trying to get up and leave
Gonta sighed as he looked at Maki again. He still wanted to know why she did something like that, and he also wondered about just how much damage she had done to his lover. There was still a lot on his mind, as it didn't make sense why anyone would want to do anything like that to Kiibo, and he just wanted to know that he could have his boyfriend back, although it was unclear if he would ever be the same again.
"Just…why did you do this…?" he asked her softly. "Kiibo did nothing wrong… There was no reason to hurt him… You hurt someone that Gonta loves, but why…?"
“Because kiibo isn't human, he doesn't have feelings and he can't show companionship “
Kokichi sent a glare towards Maki. While he teased Kiibo about that all the time, he did it as a joke. Somehow, someone being genuinely robophobic towards him bothered him a lot. He did consider Kiibo to be a friend of his by that point, although he did continue teasing him for fun. He just liked seeing his reactions to the comments. However, at the time, he was angry with Maki's comments.
"Hey! Only I'm allowed to be robophobic towards Kiibo! I just tease him!" he exclaimed. "That's just rude! Gonta, get rid of her already! She clearly hates your boyfriend!"
Gonta was just as offended by Maki's comment as Kokichi was. Besides, he knew that it was a complete lie. Kiibo was capable of expressing emotions and showing companionship, and he knew that from his own experiences with the other. For someone to say a completely blatant lie, it showed a complete hatred of Kiibo. Gonta still didn't understand why the assassin hated his boyfriend so much, but he was angry.
"That's a lie!" he yelled. "Stop hurting Kiibo! Please! He has feelings!"
“Then prove it gonta.” maki challenged
Kokichi growled at Maki. How was Gonta supposed to prove anything if Kiibo was basically unconscious? It was clear that the assassin wouldn't take explanations as evidence, and they couldn't prove anything if the person in question was completely unconscious. He never thought that he could hate Maki more than he did, but seeing how she treated the people he considered friends, and the two friends that had never done anything wrong, at that, he couldn't help but hate her more. Even if he teased the others a lot, he cared deeply about them, and Maki treating them like this bothered him.
"How do you want him to prove that…!? Clearly Kiibo being his boyfriend proves nothing! Clearly the proposal, the ring on Gonta's finger, also proves nothing to you, so what do you want from him…?!" he yelled. "He can't prove anything with KIibo since you've caused him to completely shut down!" He wanted to start cussing at Maki, although he knew that Gonta disliked it when people used that sort of language, so he refrained from doing so. "You want to make him angry! You want to make him feel hopeless! I can tolerate this with most people, but Gonta?! What did he even do to you?! I may tease him and all that, but I care about him! He's never done anything wrong, so whatever motive you have to harm the person closest to him is stupid!"
Gonta was growing frustrated by the situation. He had no idea what to do, and he felt horrible that he couldn't do anything to save his lover. He had no idea how to prove anything, and while Kokichi was trying to defend him, it wasn't doing much. All he wanted was for everyone to calm down, for things to return to normal. As anger, sadness, and confusion rushed through his mind at once, he found himself becoming overwhelmed and unsure of what to do. After a moment, he eventually just started crying.
(Maki, I am not happy with you. You made best boy cry- >:c)
Maki huffed “fine, but he's waking up~,” she said
And kiibo was, his body twitching and he kept letting out soft whimpers
Once Kiibo woke up, Gonta rushed to his lover's side. He was still crying, obviously upset by everything. He felt like he had failed Kiibo entirely for allowing all of this to happen to his lover, and to see his lover in pain was more than upsetting for him. He wanted the other to be okay, but he wasn't sure if he would ever be okay again.
"Kiibo…" he cried softly as he grabbed his lover's hand. "Kiibo…Gonta's so sorry…! You're hurt…and Gonta couldn't save you… Gonta…Gonta failed you…!"
“ you.. You didn't fail..” kiibo whispered, “ you could never fail me..”
