“Baby you should eat.” kiibo suggested

Gonta nodded in response, as he knew that he needed to eat, but he just wasn't that hungry at the time. He was gradually growing worried that something was wrong, as he knew that this was unusual for him. He really didn't know what was going on at that point.

"Alright, Gonta will…" he responded softly. "Don't worry…"

“Gonta.. I'm getting worried, you're not acting like yourself..”

Gonta sighed soflty at the comment. He was worried about himself by that point, too, as he was aware that things were unusual for him. He truly had no idea what was going on with him at the time. All he knew was that something was wrong.

"Kiibo…" he sighed, "Gonta doesn't know what's wrong either… Just…something is… At first, it was just being a bit tired, but now, Gonta just feels…weird…"

“ could make have.. Poisoned you?”

Gonta nodded at the question. It made sense. In his life, he knew that certain animals would use poison if they felt threatened. While he wasn't sure if Maki really felt that threatened in the fight, his mind at least gave her a reason to poison him. He still couldn't process that she just wanted to kill.

"She…probably did…" he responded.

“We should ask dad for help”

Gonta nodded in response to the statement. It would likely be best if they got Iidabashi to help them since neither of them knew what to do. All that they did know was that Maki had likely poisoned Gonta. Other than that, neither of the two had any idea about what to do.

"Yeah, let's get your dad…" he agreed as he stood up.

Kiibo shakily stood and leaned on gonta for support

Despite the weakened state that he found himself in, he was still able to carry Kiibo, so he picked his lover up and walked out of the kitchen. He wasn't entirely sure where Iidabashi would be, but after a few minutes, he found the other. He was just in the living room, seeming to be waiting for the two to wake up before he did any work.

"Oh, hey, you two," he greeted, although his tone showed concern when he saw them. "Okay, Kiibo, you're not fully okay yet, but I was expecting that… However, what happened to your boyfriend? He looks pale…"

“Maki poisoned him..” kiibo said

Iidabashi sighed. Sadly, that made too much sense, given the situation. He didn't know why Maki wanted to kill just about everyone, but it bothered him. With the current situation, he just hoped that someone knew what poison she used.

"She poisoned him? With what kind of poison?" he asked. "If she did it to kill him, we may need to get him to the hospital. Whether we know or not, if his condition suddenly declines, we'll have to do so just to keep him alive. I just hope that we can figure this out and find an antidote…"

“Me too, “ kiibo turned to honts “ you should go love, it's the best thing for you..”

Gonta nodded in response as he set Kiibo down. The poison had gradually been weakening him, and now he lacked the strength to continue holding his lover. It was only a couple of seconds later that he completely collapsed as well.

"That's…not good…" Iidabashi sighed. "We're just gonna have to take him ourselves. He can't even stand up right now…"

Kiibo nodded. Using his robotic strength, the other picked up his lover, though he was pushing his body to the limit.

Iidabashi sighed softly as he watched everything happen. He was glad that Kiibo could do so much after everything that happened the previous day, but he was still worried about him, although his main concern was Gonta. They needed to get him to the hospital, and they needed to do it quickly. After they would have to figure out what Maki actually used to poison him, but time was running out. His condition was already worsening.

"Alright, now that you've got him, let's get him to the hospital!" he told the other before they left the house.

Their time spent getting to the hospital was silent, but they got there as quickly as they could. Once they got there, they checked Gonta in and explained as much of the situation as they could, although they couldn't explain it past the fact that he was poisoned. They still didn't know what had been used, but they were going to investigate. They just didn't want him to die.

Kiibo was stressing enough that his circuits were burning up, his body starting to smoke

Iidabashi sighed softly as he pulled Kiibo into a hug once he no longer had Gonta. He knew that his son was worried about everything, and he couldn't blame him. The situation was certainly stressful, and someone's life was on the line. There was limited time to solve everything, too.

"It's gonna be alright, Kiibo…" he assured him softly. "They'll do everything in their power to keep him alive, and it's all going to be fine…"

“No! No, it won't! My lover is dying!”

Iidabashi shook his head. While Gonta had been poisoned by Maki, there was still the possibility of him surviving. His condition hadn't entered a critical state at the time, so he wasn't actively dying. There was still time to save him.

"No, no, he's not. There is time to save him," he assured him softly. "There's time. We can fix this…"

Kiibo shook his head, the poor thing was having a mental breakdown

Iidabashi sighed softly as he held Kiibo close to him. He had never seen his son break down like that, but he was going to get him through everything. There was no way that he was just going to let his son suffer like this, so he was going to stay there until he calmed down.

"Hey, hey, focus on me, alright?" he told him softly. "I'll go text some of your friends to investigate this situation. I'm not going anywhere. It's gonna be alright…"

Kiibo was shaking at this point, his sobs heavy “I- I can't focus… I can't breathe.. Everything hurts..”

Iidabashi sighed softly at the comment. All he wanted to do was calm Kiibo down, although he couldn't blame him for reacting like he was. There was a huge possibility that his lover would end up dying, after all. He just grabbed his phone and texted Rantaro since he had his number. Luckily, he responded by saying that he'd investigate with Shuichi.

"Alright, your friends are gonna investigate this…" he told the other. "Please, just try to take a deep breath, alright?"
