I love this god. I now adore this god. I’d have to say, of all the gods, my favorites are Frey and Loki from Norse mythology. Loki because he was non-gender conforming and an absolute maniac and Frey because she literally drove a chariot pulled by giant cats.
@LaniGirl you wanted to learn more about green witchcraft !! here is where you can learn so much !
Does anybody have plans for Samhain?
Nothing fancy, but I wanna do something. This new (celtic) year will be special for me, since so much has changed. Plus it's a full moon Samhain. Are there any Samhain rituals I should know?
Not really. Great time for (SAFE) spirit work, fae work, protection magick/spells, sex magick/spells, and power magick/spells.
I’m not entirely sure what I’m going to do, because I’m not sure what I’ll be ABLE to do. What I would like to do is bake soul cakes, light a candle for my ancestors, and do a spell for the witch’s New Year with my fae-blooded best friend. And probably do a mini evening feast/picnic-thing in honor of my beginning a new chapter of my life. That’s what I’d LIKE to do, anyways…
When you adore on a deep level all of the gods in your pantheon and you don't know who (or,,, how to for that matter) approach first
ask for ~signs~ babey. that's how i connected with my patron.
Today on recent pagan history, we'll learn about that one time Christians destroyed and replaced a statue.
ok sO
We open on Binevenagh Mountain, Northern Ireland where a statue of Manannán Mac Lir is hovering over the people.
Manannán is the pan-celtic shape-shifting trickster God of the sea, of storms, of weather, he is the "Lord of the Mists", and gatekeeper of the Otherworld. He's also associated with honesty and discernment between truth and falsehood, along with humor and sympathy. Pretty important figure in Irish mythology. He's the patron god of the Isle of Man, as well. A loaded character indeed.
wElL in 2015, some Christians in the nearby town (I'm guessing) didn't like looking up to the pagan god, so they fucking ripped it off it's mount,
replaced it with a wooden cross that says "you shall have no other gods before me"
And dumped it in the countryside (it was a while before anyone found it)

(You'll have to click that one to see it)
So yeah, the statue took too much damage so the artist had to make a whole new one. It's been replaced and Manannán still stands 👌
FINALLY SET UP MY SAMHAIN ALTAR BECAUSE I AM A ✨MASTER PROCRASTINATOR✨

I won't be home for anything, but I just clipped off some rose buds to dry
I tried to ask my deck what kind it was, and I can't honestly remember if thats what I thought or if I asked how it felt about me. either way, I pulled the fucking devil card
you've got yours up? i can't even find flowers for mine
Yeah! Took me a while to actually find the motivation to start, and when I realized I could add my dad now that he's dead I really didn't want to do it.
I don’t know where I’ll be even living during Halloween, so I can’t do much to prepare…
my parents pulled apart my altar a g a i n

I’m so sorry… are you in trouble?
they don't like my religion in the slightest. my deities understand so i'm not in trouble in that sense. nor is daz (one of the spirits i talk to.) so i think I'm good but gods its frustrating
I feel that. Don’t do anything to get in too much trouble… has personally been scared by my parents hate
lol today's assignment in language arts is to come up with three ways to figure out of someone is a witch to punish them.
If you use generic shit from police during the satanic panic they usually accept that
behead them. if they die, they're human. if the dull ass blade you used doesn't get all the way through, they must be a witch
Hey…
Is unsure if I'm pagan or wiccan
