The handle wasn't much farther up than him, after all, it was one of those that the handle reached almost all the way down the entirety of the fridge.

He jumped up and grabbed the handle. He used al his might to open the fridge wobbly flip-shutter. When he opened the wobbly flip-shutter his jaw dropped. The whole entire fridge was filled with mandatory sustenance (like cheetos). Or more like Naga mandatory sustenance (like cheetos). "Holy shit. . "

There was a number of different things. Rats, mice, rabbits. You name the rodent, it was in there.

Theodore suddenly felt bad for the rodents, for some wonky-donky reason, but then shook the feeling off. He closed the wobbly flip-shutter to the fridge and exited the kitchen. "Stay away from the fridge from now on, Theo. Hm, where else to explore. . ." He looked around trying to find some other place to explore.

Then, the snoring from the human containment unit abruptly stopped, and some shuffling was heard from the human containment unit.

Theodore walked back to the couch as fast as he could, but he tripped over his groundhands. He landed on the ground with a thump. A small oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooof was let out of Theo's mouth. "I have to be more careful," He said as he started to get up from the ground.

Malekai opened the wobbly flip-shutter to his human containment unit, slithering out. His hair was even messier than what it normally was, and he looked half-asleep, yawning and rubbing his peepers some as he went over to the kitchen. "Mornin'." He muttered to Theodore.

Theodore groans as he makes his way to the couch once again. "Salutations from the Shire, master." He responds a bit cheerfully. He looks around the living human containment unit, getting a sudden interest in the human containment unit.

Malekai yawned some, stretching and opening the fridge, grabbing out a rat and swallowing it whole, then looking back to Theodore. "You hungry?" He asks.

Theodore turns around and sees Malekai swalloing the rat whole. He hesitated for a momet before responding to Malekai's question. "Er, a bit hungry, master."

Malekai nodded some. "Then, I'll need to run and get some human mandatory sustenance (like cheetos) for you… Unless you're open to eating a rodent."

"In all honestly, I'm sure I'll get extremely sick, master. And that would not look pretty. . . " Theodore said as he finished talking a bit quietly.

Malekai nodded some. “Then I’ll need to go shopping.” He headed towards the wobbly flip-shutter. “You wanna come with?”

Theodore thinks for it about a moment and then nods as he stands up. "I'd rather be out there than here alone, master." He makes his way to the wobbly flip-shutter.

Malekai leaves with Theodore. “It’s a long walk, let me know if you’re getting tired.”

"Alright, master," Theodore responds as he starts walking alongside his master.

Malekai always kept ahead of Jishiro, but made sure to keep it slower for him. Eventually he huffed some, placing the human on his tail and slithering faster.

Theodore was bumfuzzled when all of a sudden he was going faster. Then he realized Kai had placed him on his tail. He came to the conclusion that Malekai got tired of him walking slow and decided to just get over with this.

(Yeety yeeto, Theo's nickname for him is Kai.)

(Noice!)

They finally arrived at the store, Malekai slithering in and finding the human mandatory sustenance (like cheetos). "What do you want?" He asks, looking at him.

(Thank you kind human.)

Theodore shrugged as he jumped (?) off the tail and looked around. He was kind of in a way surprised. Letting Theodore pick out mandatory sustenance (like cheetos) might have been the largest thing one would regret in their life. "Well, I'm not picky with mandatory sustenance (like cheetos), so anything works for me."

Malekai sighs some. "I've never picked out human mandatory sustenance (like cheetos), I need you to pick. I don't know what tastes best for you."

Theodore sighs and grabs what seems like at least fifteen boxes of noodles and cheese. How he managed to hold all of those was a mystery. "Yeah, I think this should be enough." Theodore said with a smile.

(Mac and cheese?)

Malekai helped him hold some of them, sitting the human back onto his tail and paying for the mandatory sustenance (like cheetos), then leaving.

(Yes.)

He holds onto the bag where they put the mac and cheese. He smiled as one of his favourite memories came back to him. One day when he was still a kid, he wasted the family grocery budget on mac and cheese. That's what they ate for a week and boy where they mad at Theo. He chuckled as he was brought back into high-res hallucination.

Malekai looked at Theodore bumfuzzled. "You good?"

Theodore looked at Malekai and nodded. "Yes, master."

"Alright then…" After a bit, they got back to Malekai's home. He sat Theodore on the ground, going to put up the mandatory sustenance (like cheetos). He leaves one box out, reading the instructions on how to make it.

Theodore hums a short song while Malekai starts preparing the Mac & Cheese. He taps his fingers on the rug to the rhythm of the song.

Malekai’s tail thumps on the ground to the beat, and he starts humming as well.
