He suddenly stops and starts tapping his finger agasint the floor to the rythm of the new song. Then all of a sudden he starts singing.
"Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide, No escape from reality.
Open your eyes,
Look up to the skies and see,
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy,
Because I'm easy come, easy go,
Little high, little low,
Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me."
He stops, contemplating if he should continue the song.
Malekai looked over at Jishiro when he stopped, looking cnfused as to why he did.
He sighs and shrugs and then decides to continue the song..
"Mama, just killed a man,
Put a gun against his head,
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead.
Mama, life had just begun,
But now I've gone and thrown it all away."
He took a deep breath and continued.
"Mama, ooh,
Didn't mean to make you cry,
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters."
Malekai went back to cooking when he started singing again, finally putting the mac and cheese down in front of him on a plate.
(I just love how it seems like Malekai can not cook the Mac & Cheese unless Theo continues singing.)
He smiles when he sees the Mac & Cheese and looks up at Kai. "Thanks, master." He says a bit quiet and starts eating the food.
Malekai smiled softly at Theo. "Sure thing."
Theodore smiled back and continued eating his Mac & Cheese. When he finished his food, he picked up his plate and made his way to the kitchen.
Malekai sat on the couch near where Theodore was sitting previously, staring at the floor. He seemed a bit awkward with this whole pet and master thing.
He managed to clean the dishes (Don't question the power of determination) and walked back, sitting on the couch. There was an awkward silence between Kai and Theodore and it made him a bit uncomfortable. "So. . . ."
Malekai looked over at Theodore. "Uhm, something you wanna do?"
"Uh, yes?" Theodore shrugged. "Since you been here more time than I have, I've only been here a day, obviously, is there something fun around the area? Or is there something you want to do, master?"
Malekai thought a moment. “Well, ahm… there’s a festival coming into town. I don’t normally go because, well… of all the other naga there… but, I can make an acception to take you.”
Theodore felt quite happy. It had been a while since had gone to a festival. The last time he went was when he was still a kid. "Thank you, master!" Theo said happily.
(Omg Im so sorry! Im at my dads and was busy so far this weekend!)
(Nah, it's fine. Respond whenever you have time.)
Malekai nodded some. "It should be in our part of town tomorrow. Then I'll take you to see it."
Theodore smiled at this newfound piece of information. "Y-yes, master." He said as he looked down at the ground.
(So I has a question also-)
Malekai smiled over at Theodore hesitating a moment before speaking again. "Would you, um… Like to sit with me?"
(Yeah?)
Theodore stayed quiet for a bit, contemplating his answer. "Uh. . .s-sure" He smiled weakly as he stood up from his spot and sat down a foot away from his master.
(So obviously this doesn't refer to any time soon, but would we be doing smut at all? Not here but in DMS)
Malekai cleared his throat some, pulling out a small book, it looked like it had sheet music in it. He was studying songs for the guitar.
(Uh, no. I'm not comfortable writing smut)
Theodore looked at the small book that his master with curiosity. He took another look at the book and then he realized that it wasn't any ordinary book. It was a music book.
Must be studying songs for his guitar. Theodore thought.
(Okay then! That's fine, I was just wondering!)
Malekai looked over at Theodore, giving him a smile smile and making the book more visable to him. "You interested in this?"
Theodore nodded as the book became more visible to him. He might not know how to play the guitar, but the notes for the guitar were very similar to the ones used for the violin. "I take it your studying songs, master?" Theodore asked.
Malekai nodded some. "I do it often. Helps me relax, y'know?"
He nodded. "Personally, master, for me playing music helps me relax. It has been quite a long time since I have played music. Might be why I feel so stressful all the time," Theodore said with a small laugh.
