Quinn gave him a tight smile.
Quinn gave him a tight smile.
Antonio grew a little worried about this interaction he was now walking into.
Quinn followed the bigger man through the hallways. It was a rather large building, and it looked like some of the walls had been punched open in order to connect to houses next door, making it even larger.
The house was certainly, interesting with its architecture. Antonio didn't know why certain walls had been punched through, but he certainly wouldn't ask anyone about it.
The man led them into a room. "Wait here. Someone will bring you to Bella." He left.
Antonio stopped and let out a mental sigh. Good he had a bit more time to get his story in order.
Quinn sat down, biting his lip faintly.
Antonio didn't know if he should sit down next to Quinn.
Quinn looked up at him, raising his eyebrows a little.
Antonio shrugged back at Quinn, "What?"
"Nothing." he said, looking away.
"Okay," Antonio nodded as he remained standing.
Quinn drummed his fingers a little anxiously.
Antonio hummed a little as he glanced around.
Eventually, someone came in. "Come with me." They said.
Antonio looked over at the new person and then back to Quinn.
Quinn got up, moving to follow.
Antonio followed after Quinn like a bit of a lost puppy.
Quinn was silent, waiting to see what would happen.
Antonio stayed quiet as well.
They were led into a room where two young women waited, one seated and the other standing behind the chair, leaning on it.
Antonio figured the one sitting was the one in charge here.
Quinn looked at the one sitting down. "Bella?" he asked slowly.
She inclined her head, raising her eyebrows. A jewel glittered where it was embedded in her left eyebrow, and her lipstick was dark. She looked lovely, but also dangerous, all at the same time. "Quinn. What do you want?"
Antonio figured Quinn could take any fall here. Even if that wasn't very royal of him.
Quinn took a deep breath. "I'm trying to find his family."
Bella's eyes flicked to Tony, then back to Quinn. "And that is my problem, how?" she questioned.
Antonio didn't know what to do or say. How was it her problem? He didn't know.
Quinn sighed. "Because they were here in the outskirts, that's why."
Bella shook her head a little. "I can't be responsible for everyone, Quinn."
Antonio had kind of assumed that might be the case. Maybe he didn't have to make something up at all or at least tell his story.
Quinn shook his head a little. "When you took over, you got the records for everyone around here. So I need to know. You promised that you'd work with the Ravens if need be. Well, I'm a Raven. Work with me."
Bella's lip curled faintly. "He's not a Raven." she gestured to Tony.
She's got a point, Antonio thought to himself. He hesitated for a moment trying to decided if he should speak up at this point.
