"What? What's wrong with fucking people over until they beg for you to leave them alone?" Derlik chuckled a bit, knowing how it had sounded.
"What? What's wrong with fucking people over until they beg for you to leave them alone?" Derlik chuckled a bit, knowing how it had sounded.
Nik's lips flattened in a thin line. He shook his head a little, not responding.
Derlik smiled, still holding Nik's hand.
"You know, it'll be over faster if I carry you."
"Fine. But Smoke shouldn't be allowed to watch. He's still…he's too young." Nik replied, frowning.
Derlik nodded.
"Of course." He placed his finger lightly to Smoke's head.
"Sleep," he said softly.
Smoke let out a faint sound as he fell asleep, slumping in Derlik's pocket.
Derlik adjusted Smoke a bit, then aimed his hand to Nik's cheek.
"Ready?"
Nik took in a breath. "I guess."
Derlik nodded, shrinking Nik. He held Nik in one hand, a couple fingers around him.
Nik squirmed a little, uncomfortable.
Derlik ignored Nik for the most part, tilting his hand slightly so Nik was laying down more as he loosened his grip. With his neck step, they weren't in the forest anymore, now in front of a bar.
Nik shifted a little, wondering if he would be stuck in Derlik's hand the whole time.
Derlik eventually set Nik on his shoulder, between his collar and his neck. He made his way inside, smirking.
Nik was silent, doing his best to keep his balance.
Derlik glanced at Nik, poking his chest lightly to get him to sit down. He sauntered into the bar, sitting down and ordering his drink.
Nik blinked, sitting down quietly and biting his lip.
Derlik was quiet for a bit, just watching the bar for a few minutes. Finally, he leaned towards a prime target.
"He insulted you. Are you going to let him get away with it?" It was the same voice he used to put people to sleep. The drunk man's eyes glazed over a bit, and he turned to the man next to him at the counter. He threw a punch.
Nik winced a little, taking a deep breath.
Soon, the whole bar was in complete chaos. Derlik laughed his maniac laugh, reveling in it all.
Nik frowned, shaking his head a little bit.
Derlik eventually made his way outside the bar, sill grinning.
"What do you think of my work?" He asked, picking Nik up from his spot.
Nik frowned a little bit. "i don't know."
"What, is it not good enough for you?" Derlik asked. He was walking away, Nik held in his fingers again.
Nik sighed faintly. "I just don't see how fights are entertaining."
"Well, it doesn't matter if they're entertaining. It's my job. Of course, I think they're absolutely perfect." He tapped Nik's chest lightly.
He pulled back from the touch, grimacing a little bit.
Derlik touched Nik's head his time.
"Something wrong?" There was no Smoke to save him now…
Nik leaned backwards. "Please stop touching me." He said calmly.
Derlik sighed, still holding Nik's in his fist.
"Are you sure? It's a long fall…" he smirked.
Nik frowned a little bit. "That wasn't what I meant, bastard, and you know it." He growled, glaring at Derlik.
