"You fell."
"Yeah."
"And you're not dead."
"Nope."
"………..How?"

I let her words sink in and it feels as if they hit me in slow motion. That weird feeling in my chest that I had felt while playing my violin comes back full force as I realize this is what I want.
I want to stay, too.
I was silent for the entire trip there. Knowing you'll be dead before dawn tends to have this effect.
(Oh I love that)
(thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuu. :D)
"We lost Daniel, Kyoko," she looked at Vicente and her heart froze.
"How?"
He shrugged. "He got hungry and went to a Dellian market to get food. We just don't know which one, though."
Her face was a small fire. Though contained for now, it threatened to spill over and grow out of control, wreaking havoc on everything that came across her destructive path.
Feet dragging across the ash, it stopped, body leaning over.
"Tora?" Vanya's voice called from behind me. My steps slowed to a stop and I closed my eyes for a moment before turning. Whatever she was going to say now was going to further destroy the fragile relationship between us. No longer was she my enemy. But no longer was she truly a friend. Vanya, like the other Praetors, would never bow to another master. We Natura had lost the privilege.
"Yes?" I asked quietly, watching the woman warily. She was still facing the widow, tea cup raised to her lips. There was a light dancing along her skin, but I was unsure if it was her power giving her that unearthly glow or the sun. One never really knew with her.
Vanya was still looking away as she spoke, her voice deadly calm in the sudden stillness of the room. "If you ever raise a hand to Aedin again, it will be your death." She turned to me then, eyes hard and unforgiving. I froze, she had seen me then, that wild look in her eyes after she had saved Isa had not been her losing control, but rather had been her attempt to keep herself in check. She had almost killed me that day…and no one would have been able to stop her.
"I'm gonna try and get you to the barn."
"Try?" Taca took a step back and looked at him. "We are surrounded by enemies, we're going to have to fight in order to get there."
"I haven't fought since I left the ninja."
Part of him hated doing this, but another twisted part, the part he’d struggled for so long to bury or kill, rejoiced to have once more joined the cause he’d been made to serve.
(I love your username!)
(yesss)
“Am I..human?”
(I love your username!)
(Thanks!)
Mari stared at them all. “Oh,” she said faintly. Overwhelmed, she stumbled backwards.
Dawson caught her first, his reflexes kicking in to stop Mari from collapsing. When it became clear to him that Mair was going to fall if he let go, he turned to James, who had already stepped in to wrap an arm around Mari’s waist. Cameron carefully guided them to the couch.
There was a couple seconds of silence as they stared at Mari, waiting for her response. She couldn't think of anything to say. So instead, she started to cry.
“Oh, crap,” Dawson said, and Mari was too busy crying to laugh at him about his language.
“Did we upset you?” James said. He sounded devastated. “Oh, Mari, I’m so sorry, we didn’t mean to…”
“I don’t understand, this wasn’t supposed to distress you,” Cameron said.
"So at first I was like waH-ChAaawW, then he was like KABLAM, and then I said oh klabamo? And then i went BANG and then he went BLEARHGH and then I went-"
"Veleda, shut up."
(thats amazing. I am in class and wheezing super loud)
"Contrary to popular belief, I'm actually a pretty nice person." I narrow my eyes. "Unless, of course, you get on my bad side. Most people don't survive that."
I realized, that without legs, I was going nowhere, even if I gathered enough energy to pull myself away from the wires that connected me to this prison.
"Of all the women to fake marry, you are an excellent choice."
"Hon, what are you on?"
"My shoes-"
“What could go wrong?”
"Did you peek?"
"You were naked. Of course, I looked."
I wanted to smack that nonchalant grin off this stupid face.
"You seem sad. Wanna fuck with Aiden until he chases us out of the house?"
"Hell yes."
'With any luck, he’ll just surrender,' Honor assured herself. Even so, in her heart of hearts, she knew it wouldn’t be so easy.
Her brown eyes mirror images of learning to drive in a hospital parking lot when she was 13.
"You can't be the strongest, there is no strongest. Because even the strong fall over when they fight alone. I don't find strength in myself, I find it with my companions."
"Take a breath. Look around. You saved her. And not only did you save her, you made it easier for her to fucking blow up my home. Congratulations."
“No, I think it’s aiming for us.”
"Onyx? Dating the human?"
