"I-I guess." She was trembling slightly, her weakened state making it difficult for her to stand for his long.
Rio gently crouched, lowering her to the ground so she didn't have to stand. "You good?" he asked, "I won't move unless you'e ok"
"I'll be fine, Rio. Go not be dead." She chuckled weakly, readjusting herself on the sand.
Rio grinned, "I'm not gonna die ok?" he said laughing as he got up, pulling off his shirt and heading for the water.
She just watched him, a slight smile tugging at her lips.
Rio kicked off his shoes as he walked, walking barefoot out on the rocks. Reaching a point where the water was deeper he dove in. Sighing as the water surrounded him he felt his auras begin to do their work.
She hummed softly to herself, watching the waves come in slowly and then pull back out to sea.
Suddenly he broke the waves, scales glittering in the sun as he dove deep before heading back to where he'd left Fiona.
"Hey there siren. Come to sing me to my death?" She chuckled softly.
Rio grinned, "No, of course not!" he said, swimming up to her in the waves, his fins glittering with the same deep blue from before, accented by violet.
"Be careful now, don't let yourself dry out." She chuckled, parting the clouds to let a beam of light circle him.
"I plan on staying in the water, so that won't happen." he said, flicking his tail so it glittered some more.
She smiled a little, watching him glitter and shine. "But I'm not a sailor so my siren can't kill me."
"Maybe not," said Rio with a faint fown, "But I can take you swimming in the reef."
"Not like this you won't. I'd drown so fast." She chuckled, watching the waves.
Rio smiked, "No you won't!" he grabbed his shirt, rifling in the pockets. Finally he pulled out a blue gem, set in silver wire. "Put this on"
She slipped on the gem, watching it shimmer in the sunlight.
Rio smiled, "Come on!" he swam back out, "The gem will allow you to breath underwater."
She rolled her eyes with a smile before wading out into the water, diving in when it was deep enough. "Alright, I'm here, now what?"
Rio grinned, taking her arm, his tail flicking as he took her deeper swimming to the drop off a few feet away.
She looked into the dark water, watching the life of the ocean deep below.
Rio grinned, letting go he swam a little further out, his powerful fins twitching as his blue aura swept below, lighting up the corals below.
She let herself sink onto the ledge but didn't go down. Something about the deep water just…put her off.
Rio's tail twitched and he came back up, "You ok?" he asked, his voice clear in the water.
"I'm fine. Just sat here." She shrugged with a small smile.
