Rashi blinked in surpise. "Him?! Working??? Still??" His scowl was gone in disbelief as he headed fo his brother's office.
Jessie watched him go, feeling a bit bad for Rio. He dealt with so much, he didn't deserve all of this.
Rashi walked into the office, instantly worried when he saw Rio asleep on the keyboard. Pushing Rio back into his chair he shook the other awake.
Rio moaned, mumbling something about staying alseep and his head being sore. Rashi touched his hand and noticed that his skin was dry.
"Great… you're dehydrated…" he muttered. Heading out to grab some water.
Jessie hadn't heard from Fiona that morning, instantly setting her on edge. She sighed quietly, grabbing herself a cup of coffee to try and take her mind off of it.
Rashi stopped by the vending machine and bought a couple of water bottles, pouring one on Rio's head, waking him up, then giving him the other.
She'd texted Fiona a couple times and she'd read them but hadn't answered. "She's alive but in what state?"
Rashi sighed, coming out of Rio's office, leaving his brother wet and half asleep. "Hopefully she's in better shape then the two of us." he said, grabbing his coffee.
"That's highly doubtful. Not after yesterday." She kept texting, hoping to God that she'd answer.
"Think someone should check on her?" asked Rio, coming out of the office, looking exhausted.
"Definitely. Just to make sure she doesn't do anything too extreme." She gently bit at her thumbnail, a bad habit she'd picked up from Fiona.
Rio nodded, heading for the door, when he stumbled tiredly. "You're going home." said Rashi, keeping the other from falling with his air manipulation. Rio sighed, "I'm not." he pushed himself up and kept walking.
"Idiot." said Rashi.
"Should I go after him?" She looked to the other twin, seeing that they both looked exhausted.
"He'll be fine" said Rashi, "Worst that'll happen is him getting a massive headache."
"If you say so." She shrugged, returning to her desk to try to get some work done.
Rashi shrugged, heading back to his office.
Rio sighed, a massive headache coming on as he came up to Fiona's door 20 minutes later.
She was still curled up on the bathroom floor, the only difference being now she actually looked dead and there were two pools of blood around each of her wrists. "Door's open." Her voice was small and weak, barely above a whisper.
Rio slipped in, closing the door behind him. "Fiona?" he looked around, seeing that the bathroom door was open down the hall. Padding up to it he took a step back in almost shock. Next thing he knew he was at her side opening a container of seawater that he always had on him. "Fiona are you ok? Why would you do this?!" His voice was quiet, and worried.
"I'm fine. Just coping since I haven't moved in 24 hours and my pills are on the counter." Her voice was still weak and she hadn't moved, just staring at the cabinet under the sink with a far off look.
Rio quickly grabbed her pills, "Do you need to take these? If so how many?" he asked quickly, forcing himself to stay calm. "I have healing powers, will you let me heal your cuts?" he asked softly.
She snapped her wrists to her chest, shaking her head. "My failures don't need to be anyone else's problem." She sighed quietly, deflating. "Three pills. The normal dosage is two but I'm just not feeling it today."
Rio nodded, helping her sit up against the wall to take them. He carefully got up, pulling gauze from her cupboard. "Will you at least let me bandage them?" he asked gently.
She hesitated for a moment, thinking it over before slowly letting her wrists fall into her lap. "Okay…"
Rio sighed carefully grabbing a cloth to qipe away the excess blood. Then he wrapped a layer of gauze around the wound, trying it off snugly. Then he did the same for the other. "As .uch as you might hate me, believe me when I say you honestly scared me."
"Why? Because I looked like I was dead?" Her voice was still quiet and weak, her eyes red and puffy from a night of crying. "Not surprised, a lot of people would've just seen it and run."
"Because you almost were" said Rio firmly, "not because you looked like it, but because you almost were."
