"Yeah I know. She's only annoying when she's having a rough day. She hasn't taken her depression pills in days, I can tell, her being annoying is always a withdrawal symptom."
"Yeah I know. She's only annoying when she's having a rough day. She hasn't taken her depression pills in days, I can tell, her being annoying is always a withdrawal symptom."
"Yeah, well her having a bad day, led to Rashi having a bad day thanks to his annoying empathic abilities." said Rio, "Which leads to me have a bad day because he took it out on me as his personal attack dummy."
"Yeah, sorry about that. She hasn't called or texted me, she's probably curled up on the bathroom floor staring at the wall and looking completely dead. I wish I could say this was the first time this has happened."
"I just wish she hadn't pranked Rashi…." said Rio, "To be quite honest I hurt… All over. And maybe if she hadn't pranked him he wouldn't have beaten me up and then I wouldn't be hurting right now." He laughed at that, regretting it immediately.
"She's off her medication, normally she's a lot more quiet and shy. I've never actually seen her so personable. It was pretty surprising."
Rio sighed, "Well, that's good I guess," he said, "Either way my opinion is biased and I have more work that needs to be done." he stretched and turned to leave. "I'm probably gonna be here all night, so don't bother locking up."
"Alright. Oh, and Rio? I'm really sorry about you having to see her like that. It's a shame really."
"Everyone has their down side. I just hope no one but me has to live through my brother's." he said gently.
"Still, I'm sorry. It's annoying to deal with, really. I don't know why I do most of the time." Sure, Jessie was nice, but that was just on the surface. Underneath, maybe she wasn't the best person.
"Well you're the best sort of friend for doing so" said Rio.
"Also her only friend. Everyone else in the office is either jealous of her for being a goody two shoes or just straight up hate her for different reasons."
Rio sighed, "Well you can count me and my twin the oddballs." He said, "Seeing as we never hated nor envied her."
"Shocking. The only other person she thought cared was her boyfriend but you saw how that worked out."
"Unfortunately me and Rash were just a few feet away when that happened." He said. "We could have intervened, but it happened too fast for us to do anything." He sighed. "Which is why she was mad at us yesterday."
"I mean, you could've at least asked if she was okay afterwards or something." She muttered under her breath.
"I know… and I regret not doing it." Said Rio with a sigh. "It all happened too quickly… and left me just as stunned as her… i know thats a bad excuse but It's all i got to say other than admitting that I made a mistake."
"Oh, trust me, you've seen her come in with worse from him. You just never noticed because she's a makeup master. But he'd been going to anger management classes, he seemed to be getting better so that's why she was so shocked. She's a sensitive soul, she really is."
"I can imagine" said Rio.
"Just…take it easy on her, okay? Its been a long week for her."
"Yeah, I plan on staying well away." Said Rio. "Now, as much as I enjoy talking to a rational human I have work to do." He said qryly as he slipped back to his office.
She opened her mouth to stop him, to tell him that leaving her alone was the biggest mistake he could make, but she stopped. It's not worth the trouble.
Rio sat back down at his desk and began to work, knowing he'd be here till morning.
Jessie just sighed before heading out. She was going to check on her friend but couldn't bring herself to. It hurt too much.

Rashi sighed as he walked into the office late that morning. He was grumpy, and in a bad mood. Scowling he went ove to pour himself a cup of coffee, slipping in extra cream and sugar. Taking a sip he sighed, "Has anyone seen my twin??" he asked, managing to sound genuinely worried, and mad at the same time. "He never came home yesterday…."
"He was in his office. He was still working when I left." Jessie smiled sympathetically at him.
