Still walking backwards Ivy hesitates. Maybe it'll be okay this time… She then comes to a full stop. After a moment of looking at the ground she glances up at Stella. Still uncertain about staying she slowly says, "So… flying…. do you always just uh, drop in?"
"When I see someone down below, yes." She looked a tad confused, "Though for some reason it always tends to scare people and I'm uncertain why."
Ivy lets out a small breathy laugh, "Well uh, when you just decide to uh, drop in on someone it can be a bit…. odd."
"Hmm…" Stella stared at the ground thinking, "I suppose."
"…I'm sorry if you feel bad. It's just not everyday you see someone land right in front of you in a forest," Ivy says, looking at Stella's feet.
It's also not everyday you wander around in a forest Ivy.
No, not now Iris.
Stella looked back up, straightening herself, "Completely understandable, Miss Ivy."
Ivy pauses, "M-miss? Uh, please don't use miss, just Ivy." She then starts playing with her long black hair.
"Oh?! Pardon my mistake, mi–uhm, Ivy…" Stella stiffened, worried she did something terrible
"Oh, it's fine! Please don't freak out…" Ivy says quickly and as reassuring as possible
"Yes of course, I will not." Stella replied, nodding, "So…" She said not knowing how to make a conversation, "How long have you been here?"
Ivy looked around, "About uh, two or three days I think."
"So not long," Stella sighed pinching the bridge of her nose, and put her arms behind her back, "I've been here for a half a year now.'
Serenade landed near Stella and Ivy, and began plucking loose feathers from her wings, evidently bored.
After she finished with her work, Mos went to cleaning her tools before she left. Before that, she took out a wrapping of some sorts, that she wrapped the meat in, and put it safely in a saddlebag on Locket.
After some more observing the armored male finally dropped from his branch. He was, of course, slow, keeping his approach as non-threatening as possible. He was still incredibly curious about this other humanoid and the beast that seemed to be partnered with them.
His golden eyes remained looking towards the pair, as if sizing them up, potential danger, or potential friend. It was all a mystery in any strange, new world. Though his gaze shifted to the side, clearly also looking for the remains of the creature this other had slain and carved for whatever purposes.
Well, he was still what he was, mind coming down to primal instinct. It was worthy enough to take notes to make sure that the potential food source was possibly still there.
"Ah, hello, Miss Serenade." Stella addressed the girl who had landed next to her.
"I'm Aza." She adjusted her armor and let her silvery faerie wings flare out from her back.
Ivy freezes again. More…? She puts one foot back in case things go wrong but says to Stella, "So, friends of yours?"
"Jeez. Is everyone afraid of me?" Aza rolls her eyes. "The darkness isn't deadly unless it's in your bloodstream!"
"Uh, acquaintances," Stella said, "Nice of you to join us, Miss Aza."
"Honestly. You don't have to be so formal." Aza said, fluttering her wings slightly and whisking her hand impatiently.
"Apologies, Aza," Stella replied.
Darkness in your bloodstream…? How could they know about that?
Ivy looks at Aza, hoping to get more information, "Darkness…?"
"Oh, this." Again, Aza held out her hand and the darkness swirled in her palm, this time in a controlled sphere. "It runs in my veins, but I can control it so it doesn't hurt me."
"Ah, hello, Miss Serenade." Stella addressed the girl who had landed next to her.
Serenade lifted up a hand to acknowledge Stella, then went right back to preening her wings. As she pointedly ignored them both, a small bolt of lightning struck down and zapped her, even though the sky was perfectly clear. She stared at the sky angrily.
“Why? Why do I have to associate with humans? Can’t I just go back home?” She yelled at the sky. A booming, female voice sounded from everywhere.
“You are in this forest to socialize, Serenade. You spend way too much time alone on your island. You should get out more.”
"Interesting," Stella looked up at the sky.
Serenade rolled her eyes, took a deep breath, and walked over to Ivy, a smile plastered on her face.
“Hi, I’m Serenade.” She holds out her hand for Ivy to shake.
Ivy flinches. After a moment she finally takes Serenade's hand lightly and shakes it. Then looking back to Aza she studies the darkness. So they have a like a "physical" darkness…. interesting.
Serenade stared at the sky again.
“See, they don’t want to interact with me! Just let me go home!”
Stella looked perplexed, "How…how often does the sky speak to you, Miss Serenade?" A young male spirit with blue eyes and black hair appeared floating next to her only visible to her, "Sir Giles…" She said softly.
