"She has used to much energy. And we have not eaten for days. She is weak. And she burns away." Ancro's eyes went dark. "Without healing she will die."
"She has used to much energy. And we have not eaten for days. She is weak. And she burns away." Ancro's eyes went dark. "Without healing she will die."
"Stand back then," Stella closed her eyes and muttered a spell then opened her eyes, they glowed white with gold rings in the center. When she was done she sighed, clearly out of breath and reached in her bag to grab some fruit, "Eat." She said eyeing the boy.
Ancro grabbed the food quickly and began to eat. His eyes never left his sisters face.
"How old are you both, if you don't mind me asking," Stella asked looking at Chion
His eyes darkened at the question, but he answered. "We start our fourteenth year come spring," he said warily.
"Interesting, well I'm 17." She replied
"Dragon alert," Aza said mildly and threw her blade opposite Ivy. She shot her hands out and the darkness surged toward Ivy and paralysed her.
Iris falls. Then after a moment while on the ground she starts laughing, "Oh my dear, again, I myself am a darkness. Your little darkness will not hurt me" She slowly rises, regaining her strength. "Now, you want that darkness to leave?" she then quickly runs over to Aza reaching for her arm, "Then let me help you…"
(What kind of healing did she do? Would Chion wake up?)
(Yeah)
Chion's eyes flickered and opened. She scrambled away from Stella till her eyes locked with Ancro's. "Shh." he whispered. "You are safe." She unsuccessfully tried to cover her hair with her hands. We are never safe.
"Are you okay?" Stella asked the frightened girl?
Her hands slid down, releasing her long white hair as she covered her face. She nodded.
"It's been a while since anyone has asked me that question, but I will answer that. Locket," the Quesselatos looked up as he heard his name, "is what is known as a Quesselatos. They're known as tracking and hunting mounts, but also extremely loyal companions. Typically, you will most likely only see members of my species with a Quesselatos. Which brings me onto my next topic, myself - or my species." Looking around, Mos answered. "I'm a Ruvyr. The Ruvyr live in tribes, or several travelling groups. Sometimes even big cities. But we're a very hidden, often secretive race."
"It's part of the reason why I left my species in the first place. I'm still at good terms with them, but I wished to see the world. The Ruvyr are otherwise also known for taming creatures of all types." Mos paused. "My name is Mosquiltos, but most call me Mos."
The male listened, eyes continuing to glow softly in the darkness of his helmet. Those were indeed names he had never heard before. He seemed ever more fascinated, despite his face being hidden.
"Hm, intriguing, can't say I have ever heard of your creature or your kind Miss Mos."
Having her introduce herself, he felt it was only proper to respond, "The name's Razorik, a valravn. As for my own kind, we're mostly solitary creatures. Often seen as bad luck and ill omens among humans, so we tend to keep to ourselves."
Stella gave a small smiled, "Good. Are you well enough to move miss…" She paused, "I don't believe I caught your name."
She gave a pointed look at Ancro. "She is not going to tell you," he said.
"She is not- she does not-" Chion glared at them both, her eyes like iron
"Give her some food," Ancro said, "She might trust you more then."
Stella handed her a mango and an apple, "Here."
Chion slowly stuck out her hand. Then snatched the fruit away and began to tear into it.
Stella looked surprised then smiled slowly.
Ancro sat next to her and held her hand. See? She is safe.
"Get your hands off me." Aza gritted her teeth and light blazed outward from her skin, piercing the darkness and making her slowly turn a brilliant white.
Stella listened to the forest sounds and took a deep breathe.
Iris saw the light, and backed up the tiniest bit, letting the corruption stop. As the light grows stronger Iris backs up more. Then slowly, as Iris is calmer, Ivy kicks in. Let me have control, she yelled in her head. After another moment, every part of Ivy is back, her hands no longer an ombre, and her eyes back to their normal hue. She then falls to the ground.
Aza's hair, skin, eyes, everything was shining, pure, whole, without darkness. After a few minutes, the light faded, and she was back to her normal colors.
"That would make sense; to keep to yourselves. It is rather unfortunate that humans see your kind as bad omens, however. I can say the same for you; I haven't seen any of your kind before. So I suppose that makes two of us, then."
