"Demon? It's a Day-mon. Otherwise known as an external life force." Azalane's eyes lit up with a maniacal fire.

“I know what a Daemon is, thank you very much. I just don’t care.” Serenade was trying to cover up how scared she was by the daemon with sarcasm, and failing miserably. She flapped her wings and flew up onto a tree branch, away from the daemon.

“I know what a Daemon is, thank you very much. I just don’t care.” Serenade was trying to cover up how scared she was by the daemon with sarcasm, and failing miserably. She flapped her wings and flew up onto a tree branch, away from the daemon.

"Delazey can sense your feelings. She won't kill you, ya know. Unless I tell her to." Aza smirked. "Dela-" Delazey shifted into a harmless housecat. "Better?"

Serenade stared at the daemon, memories of horrifiying nightmares flashing through her mind. Blood dripping off the branches of burned trees, a flash of white fire scurrying in front of her, a maniacal laugh that seemed to rip through her soul, one of her wings ripped off and bleeding on the ground. She shuddered and leaned back, away from the daemon-cat.

The creature had finally finished picking what was left of the carcass. It leaned back, resting on its haunches. A tongue slipped out, running along the edges of its beak. Black fur and feathers were such a nice feature, easier to hide blood. Course, the scent would always linger, but that was minor.
One of its ears swiveled forward, the other laid back. It curled its tail around its side, continuing to listen to the world around it. Even from where it sat, it could sense the presence of others in the depths of the trees. It seemed silent for several moments, before it finally spoke to nothing and no one in particular, "Hm…what carcasses lay further in the woods? No matter…"

Stella shook her finger about, “That…was weird.” For

((I didn’t expect this much activity, I’m currently at class but I wanted to make a quick reply right now))
Mos shifted in her spot, sitting straight up against the tree. Still silent; she got up, taking a moment to stretch, before she began to walk to the centre of the clearing she was in. Once she was there, she took off her bag, careful not to remove the variety of spears and sharp sticks on her back, foraging for a certain pelt in the bag.

Serenade gave a sigh of relief when the daemon flew off, her wings fluttering lightly.
“Who would keep such a horrible creature?” She muttered.

Having eaten his fill from the decaying carcass, the creature slowly laid down. His wings were folded neatly against his sides, settling his head between his paws. The strange beast seemed to release a relaxed sigh, slowly closing his red eyes, tail curling around himself. His ears twitched a bit, still constantly listening to the world around, ready to move should the situation be called for.

Mos had the pelt. It was white, furred, fairly small. However, it was only a little sample of the creature it had originated from. Mos slung her bag back over her shoulder with surprising accuracy for someone who wears a cloth over her face. The alien approached the treeline, seemingly touching a tree, but the tree moved; no; a creature slithered off of the tree. This was her well-known Quesselatos, Locket. Immedietaly his scales changed back to their original blue, and the creature lifted his neck, moving his 'beak' - though I assure you, it is not a beak - closer to the pelt. Opening his jaws were three tongues, the middle one longer than the rest. Locket inspected the pelt before clicking his beak and lowering himself to allow Mos to get on. Once she got on, Mos lightly grabbed two tendrils that extended from the back of Locket's head, which ended in fur.
Nodding, she allowed Locket to guide her, as the Quesselatos knew the way.

Locket took off slowly at first, but gradually sped up, maneuvering through the trees and vegetation. Anything flying above would be able to see them occasionally through the tops of the trees, while if you were on the ground you might be able to see them for a few seconds before they passed by.

Serenade looked indignant.
“It’s not my fault if I’ve been emotionally traumatized by a demon, and had one of my wings cut off, and been almost killed by some crazy murduress!” She screams out at Azalane, almost crying by the end. She gestures with her wings as she speaks.
“All because of one, stupid demon.” She whispers to herself, putting her face in her hands.

Stella watched the two bicker and laughed slightly, “Do either of you know how to get out of this forest?”

@Darkblossom group

Serenade looked smug.
“I can fly away at any time I want. Though my Divine Protector will probably try to keep me here, for whatever reason.”

“O-oh well could you possibly show me the way?” She smiled.

@Darkblossom group

Serenade seemed to consider it for a moment, then shrugged.
“Fine. Follow me.” She flapped her powerful wings and hovered just above the trees, looking for the nearest town. She slowly landed back on the ground.
“Huh. It’s just forest in every direction. It extends for miles! I have no idea how to get out.”

The girl halted again. From the direction they were traveling in came noise. The boy tugged at her hand. She refused. "Come." he said. A quick conversation ensued. Her shoulders slumped. She nodded. They went on, towards the noise, the boy leading.

Stella frowned, disappointed, "Oh, well I guess I'll spend another 6 months searching…"

His head finally lifted. The creature yawned, revealing the fangs inside his beak. His ears swiveled forward, listening intently to the world around him. He could hear sounds, voices, some which were getting closer.
The wolf-like beast finally sat up, unfolding his wings, flapping a bit, then returning them back to his sides. His red eyes glowed, remaining in place.
"What is this?"
He moved a hindleg, scratching his ear a bit.

Stella looked around the forest and thought she heard the flapping of wings, "Did you guys hear that?"
