"I think dinner might be nicer, if your sister hasn't come by then," Cicada commented moving so he could stretch out better. She had a smile on as she looked at him, "But who says we can't do both?"
"I think dinner might be nicer, if your sister hasn't come by then," Cicada commented moving so he could stretch out better. She had a smile on as she looked at him, "But who says we can't do both?"
"That's true," Phoenix chirped, yawning a little. "And dinner can definitely work. She left about three hours later than we did yesterday. So dinner should work out."
"Dinner sounds nice," Cicada replied seeing him yawn. She frowned ever so slightly as she looked up at him, "Did you get enough sleep last night?"
"Hmm?" Phoenix mumbled, giving her a little smile. Slowly he processed what she had said, and nodded. "Oh, yeah. I'm just getting sleepy from being lazy." He hummed, chuckling softly.
"Oh. Well, i'm glad it's just cause we're deciding not to do anything and not cause you slept bad," Cicada replied with a little laugh. She didn't know why, but Phoenix just seemed to tear down all her walls. And she was fine with that.
"Mmm, I am too. I do have to admit, I did have a little trouble at first, but I crashed after a little bit." Phoenix mumbled, grabbing a pillow from the couch, and curling up with it. "But maybe we can nap together later."
"Mmm a nap sounds nice," Cicada said leaning back against the couch holding back her laughter watching him. She instead reduced it to a small giggle like sound as she saw him, "Of course you look ready to pass out right now."
"Mmm, maybe I am." Phoenix muttered, burying his face in the pillow. He yawned into it, before resting his head on it. "But I can stay up until this is over… or whenever we plan on taking that nap."
"I mean, we've got nothing better to do," Cicada commented shrugging. She then reached over and began lightly playing with Phoenix's hair as she kept talking, "And you're probably about to pass out anyway."
(I swear I responded to this earlier… I'm so sorry.)
"Mmm… yeah, probably." Phoenix laughed softly, giving her a sweet smile. He leaned into her hand, yawning once again. "Do you mind if I sleep? Or would you prefer I stay up?"
(It's fine! I probably wouldn't have had time to respond anyway lol)
"I'm not going to stop you," Cicada replied still gently playing with his hair. She didn't exactly know how to braid it and doubted his hair would be long enough to braid anyway, "So go ahead and sleep."
(Eheh, I feel that.)
"Mmmm'kay…" Phoenix hummed out, giving her a sweet little smile. He flicked his gaze over to her with a little sigh. "You wanna curl up? Or do you wanna just stay where you are?"
"I would like to be independent, if you don't mind," Cicada replied stay close, but not getting any closer. She was mirroring his soft smile easily.
Phoenix chuckled, nodding a bit. "Of course, darling. Wake me if you need me, I guess." He hummed softly, curling up as he started to nod off.
Cicada hummed and continued to play with his hair lightly. She wanted to do so until she was sure he had nodded off completely, "I will."
Phoenix nodded a bit, letting out another yawn before growing quiet. It wasn't long before he slipped off to sleep, a soft snoring coming from him.
Cicada smiled and slowly removed her hand from his head and curled up on the other side of the couch. She let out a slight sigh before turning her attention to the movie that was still playing.
(Shall we skip?)
(Sure.)
(Where to? Dinner that night?)
(Probably.)
(Alright ^^)
Phoenix had slept for a while, waking up in the late afternoon. The two didn't do much until time to leave for dinner. Phoenix had cleaned up his hair, offering a hand as he came from the bedroom. "You ready to go?"
"Hmm?" Cicada turned towards his direction. She had stayed in the main room straightening up a little bit so she at least found herself looking presentable. She had a little smile on as she saw his hand and took it, "Oh yeah, I'm ready to go."
"Alright then, love." Phoenix hummed a little, starting to lead her to the door. He gave a gentle smile as he held the door for her. "You'll have to lead the way. But I'll be right there with you."
Cicada gave him a grateful smile as she stepped out of the hotel room taking a deep breath. She was going to be fine, the only people she was likely to run into was Breeze or River, and if she ran into either she would probably be fine. She looked over at him, "Well, let's go then! It's only a block away from here."
