Cicada laughed a little as she nuzzled up against him. She looked back at him with a smile, "We need to open the door for them. And I like cuddling to, we can cuddle when we eat breakfast?"
Cicada laughed a little as she nuzzled up against him. She looked back at him with a smile, "We need to open the door for them. And I like cuddling to, we can cuddle when we eat breakfast?"
"They're gonna be sticky… I don't want to get any on you…" Phoenix mumbled, starting to pull back to get ready and stand up. "You promise to cuddle afterwards?"
"I promise," Cicada laughed as she pulled away slightly as well. She stretched a little as she smiled at him, "And that is a fair want. I don't want you to get sticky either."
Phoenix let a little smile pull up, leaning down to kiss her forehead. "Mmmm, yay~" He grinned, standing up from his seat. "Cuddle time on the bed, or on the couch? We could maybe watch a movie, out here?"
"I think watching a movie would be nice," Cicada replied humming a little as she went to stand up from her seat as well. She heard a knock on the door and began to make her way towards it, "You can pick a movie."
"You don't care what I pick, do you?" Phoenix called out, reaching over for the remote. When he had picked it up, turning it on to start looking for a movie.
"Not particularly," Cicada called back before opening up the door. She flashed a smile at the guy and took the tray from his hands before heading back into the room.
Phoenix was focused on the TV, seeming to find something as his face lit up a little. "Ooh, how about a Marvel film? Or are you not into those?" He asked softly, looking back at her.
"Marvel? Who do you think I am?" Cicada laughed as she brought over the tray of cinnamon rolls and a few other goodies. She had a big smile on, "Of course I'm into Marvel. Superheroes are my jam."
Phoenix peered at the tray, before flicking his gaze back onto her. "Are you now? Who's your favorite? Or, better yet, what's your favorite Marvel film?" He asked lightly, scooting back on the couch and leaving a space for her.
Cicada set the tray down on the little coffee table before sitting back down next to him. She hummed in thought as she tried to decide, "That's a difficult question. Becuase I love Black Widow, but the Dr. Strange movie is really fun to watch."
"Mm, I agree with both of those opinions. Though, personally, Tony Stark might be my favorite character." Phoenix admitted, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "You wanna watch Dr. Strange, since it's your favorite?"
"If you're okay with that, than yes!" Cicada replied happily leaning up against him. She didn't know why she was so touchy today, but she was and she was fine with it. After a moment of debating she reached for a cinnamon roll.
Phoenix nodded a bit, finally finding Doctor Strange, before putting it on the TV. "Alright then," He started as the movie did. "What did you get? I saw cinnamon rolls, but I saw other things."
"Cinnamon rolls, some milk, pancakes also sounded really good, and an apple," Cicada replied taking the cinnamon roll off of the platter. She smiled up at him, "I thought we might want something other than cinnamon rolls as well."
"You thought right. That all sounds pretty good." Phoenix chirped as he sat forward, getting his own food with a light smile. He smiled softly as he did so, looking pretty satisfied. "It smells fantastic."
"It definitely does," Cicada commented with a little laugh as she took a bite into the cinnamon roll. She let out a hum at the taste before grinning, "It tastes amazing as well. Though I'm not sure if there quite as sweet as you."
“Mm, you’d know best…” Phoenix hummed, smiling a bit as he ate. His mood had clearly shifted a little at least, considering her was truly smiling. “Though I know for a fact you tasted better.”
“Did not,” Cicada retorted with a little smile on. She was glad he was smiling again, “You’re the one that tastes the best.”
Phoenix chuckled lightly, humming a little as he ate. "How can you be so sure, missy? You didn't kiss yourself, now did you?" He asked in a soft tone, leaning over to peck her cheek.
"I just know," Cicada hummed as he kissed her cheek. She had a grin on and pecked his cheek back before humming a little with a smile, "You're defintely much sweeter and tastier than both me and the roll."
"I won't argue with you, but I'm silently disagreeing." Phoenix hummed lightly, smiling softly. He glanced at her, scooting a little bit closer when she kissed him in return. "How's that sound?"
"Sounds good to me," Cicada hummed in return moving close to him. She seemed to relax ever so slightly and glanced at the tray, "We can agree to disagree on this matter."
"Seems like the smartest choice, right now." Phoenix chirped as he curled up a little closer. He glanced over at the TV, letting the film distract him for a couple minutes after finishing his food.
