Smoke purred quietly, closing his eyes.

Derlik smiled, holding Smoke close. He reached out with his second hand, touching Smoke's cheek and putting him back to normal.

Smoke looked up at him, in cat form now.

Derlik ran his hand down Smoke's back, scratching him. He put Nik back to normal too.

Smoke mewed softly, arching up into the scratches and purring. Nik took a deep breath.

Derlik smiled lightly, cooing softly at Smoke. He was pointedly ignoring Nik.

Nik was silent, tucking his knees to his chest.

Derlik picked Smoke up, scratching his head.

Smoke purred happily, pressing into the touch.

Derlik cooed again, pulling his legs up underneath him as he showered affection on Smoke.

Smoke mewed faintly, purring still.

Derlik smiled, scratching his fingers down Smoke's back.

He arched into the touch, purring louder.

Derlik hummed softly, holding Smoke in his arms with a smile. He was so different then how he had been, and even how he was now, with Nik.

Nik was silent, leaning his chin on his knees and not looking at the two. Smoke kept purring.

Derlik finally glanced at Nik, sighing softly. Really, he did want them to get along.

Nik was silent still, closing his eyes.

Derlik sighed softly, laying back on the boulder behind Nik.

Nik took in a faint breath. He didn't speak.

Derlik gently placed Smoke on his chest, scratching his head gently. He didn't speak either.

Smoke purred quietly, closing his eyes.

Derlik smiled, relaxing. He continued to pet Smoke, looking up at the sky.

Smoke mewed softly, curling up on Derlik's chest.

Derlik hummed a bit, petting Smoke. He looked over at Nik, sighing.

Nik was silent, still curled up and looking blankly at the forest.
