(His thumb under Nik's shirt)
(alright that makes more sense)
Nik yelped, pushing at his finger. "Hey!" he exclaimed, glaring up at Derlik.
"What's wrong~?" Derlik asked. He chuckled a bit, not taking his thumb out from under Nik's shirt yet.
"Stop that." Nik growled, pushing at his thumb again.
Derlik hummed a bit, walking into the gentleman's estabilshment. He still held Nik in one hand, taking his thumb out from Nik's shirt in favor of holding him in one fist again.
Nik squirmed a little, looking uncomfortable, and not just with the way he was being held.
Derlik ignored the preformers for now, focusing on the people walking. He touched a few of their backs, trailing his fingers over them. In a few moments, some were trying to scramble up to the performers' stages, others going to the manager for a private dance. Still others seemed to be throwing all their money away. Derlik laughed heartily as the ones trying to get on stage were wrestled down by bouncers.
Nik was silent, shaking his head a little bit. He didn't understand why Derlik enjoyed causing all of this, but he wasn't going to say anything.
Derlik leaned against the bar now, ordering yet another drink. He set Nik down on the counter, humming to himself as he watched the chaos he had started.
Nik sat down on the counter, unsure what would happen if someone spotted him. He nibbled on his lower lip anxiously, hoping Smoke didn't wake up.
Derlik got his drink, holding it in one hand. He looked at Nik, offering him some.
(idea- what if someone accidently almost steals Nik?)
Nik frowned a little, shaking his head. For one thing, the glass was bigger than he was, and for another, he didn't want any.
(ooh yes)
Derlik shrugged a bit, pulling the glass away. He drained it, setting it down with a thud near Nik.
Nik jumped at the thud, scooting a little bit away and looking down at his hands.
Derlik was ignoring Nik, chatting with some other people that he had chosen as targets. Eventually a very, very drunk woman made her way up, stumbling into the bar next to Derlik. She put her arm down. While she didn't seem to see Nik, the way her arm was effectively trapped him.
Nik frowned a little, shifting. He wasn't quite sure what to do about this, so he just stayed still.
Derlik looked over at the woman, purring softly. She looked him up and down, laughing. He leaned forward a bit, taking her chin in his hand. It seemed they knew each other.
"My dear, it's been a while~" Derlik murmured. The woman hiccuped.
"Ish- ish you're fault! I… always looking forward to the parties…" They stopped trying to talk now, just starting to make out. The woman's arm moved quickly, knocking Nik into her sequined bag on accident.
Nik grimaced when they began making out, then yelped as he fell into the bag. He shifted. "Uhm…"
No one seemed to notice, the bag shuffled around in and closed. Derlik and the woman continued for a bit, then there woman was being pulled away, the bag going with her, but by who who knew. Maybe Derlik, maybe someone else.
Nik shifted around again, looking a little worried. He didn't like Derlik, but he also didn't want to end up being stolen away by some woman. "Hello?" He called.
Derlik looked around a bit when the woman left.
"Nik?" He pursed his lips a bit. He moved around a bit, finally finding the woman again. He opened her purse, reaching in.
Nik looked up when the purse opened, blinking.
Derlik felt around, fingers finally closing gently around Nik. He pulled the man out, sighing.
Nik looked up at him quietly, unsure what to do.
