Nik was quiet, still perched on Derlik's shoulder.

(now seems like a lot of fun!)

Derlik retired to a seat now, but not at the bar. He was in a booth, humming a bit to himself. He was board already, so he reached up and plucked Nik off his shoulder, setting him down and turning him back to normal.
"Come, have a drink with me," Derlik said.

(alright!)

Nik blinked, taking a moment to adjust to being normal sized again. "Oh. Uhm…okay." he said slowly, looking around the bar quietly.

Derlik called a waitress over, smiling a bit as he ordered. Already, a man seemed to be eyeing Nik. Derlik ignored them for now, though.

(Oh do you wanna be the guy, or should I? Because if you are then I should probably tell you the usual routine Nik did when people hired him)

Nik was quiet, glancing up at the waitress for a moment, then down at the table, idly tapping his fingers on it.

(I think it would be best for you to!)

Derlik looked over at Nik.
"Are you going to order?" He asked.

(alright!)

Nik looked up, blinking. "Oh. Uhm…" he ordered just a drink, then looked down at the table again.

Derlik leaned back, glancing at Nik.
"Something wrong?"

He shook his ehad a little bit. "No." he just wasn't sure why he was full-size again. Wasn't sure what Derlik was planning this time.

Derlik hummed a bit, folding his legs.
"Whatever, I guess…" He smiled lightly as the chaos in the bar continued.

Nik waited quietly, eyes flickering up to look around the bar.

Derlik was ignoring Nik completely now, tapping his fingers and thinking about what to do next to this place.

Nik's eyes landed on someone vaguely familiar, and he inhaled, looking away.

Derlik glanced over when he heard Nik inhale.
"What wrong?" He asked again. "And don't bullshit me. Something obviously is."

"I just… thought I saw someone." He replied. "It's fine. It's nothing."

Derlik pursed his lips a bit.
"Alright, then…"

Nik took a deep breath, waiting to see what would happen.

Derlik smiled as their drinks came, taking his in his hands.

Nik took his drink, looking around quietly.

(Can Derlik slip off to use the bathroom at some point? It would be weird to have somebody approach Nik while he's with someone else)

(Okay then!)

Derlik hummed a bit to himself, watching Nik a moment.
"Think you'll behave if I leave you alone for a bit?" he asked finally.

Nik looked up. "Uhm. I…" He trailed off. "I guess so." He said slowly, unsure what was going on.

Derlik nodded. He slipped out of the booth, stalking off to do… Something. It wasn't really obvious what, though.

Nik watched him go for a moment, then took a sip of his drink. After a few minutes, a man sat down beside Nik, plopping a drink down in front of him.

"I'd assume it's the same rate it used to be?" He asked, smirking when Nik looked up at him, startled.

Derlik was still no where to be seen, having disappeared into the crowd.

Nik took in a sharp breath. "Oh. God. No, I…I don't do that anymore." he said, scooting back a little bit and clearly uncomfortable.

The man leaned forward, one hand moving to rest on Nik's thigh. "Mm, sure you don't." he said in a soft voice. "Once a whore, always a whore, isn't that right."
