Starfire grinned too. “You were right,” she agreed. “The midnight snacks are good! Now let us find out if they will help us sleep or not.”

"Well, finish off the milk first," he said, closing the Oreo packet and returning it to his hidden spot. To be honest, he really didn't want to go back to sleep. He'd be content with staying up with Starfire all night. Yet, something within him prrevented him from telling her, so he kept his mouth shut.
“Are you sure you don’t want it?” she asked, looking at him. “You’ve barely had any, and it tastes weird to me.” She offered him the glass with a smile.
He took it and gulped it all down, figuring there was no point in waiting to drink it all. He set the cup into the sink and wiped the mustache from his upper lip. "Well….goodnight, I guess."
“Good night,” she said hesitantly, realizing she didn’t really mind if she couldn’t fall asleep just yet if she got to spend more time with him. “Maybe we should wait a bit, just to make sure it works?”
He didn't bother holding back a smile. "Yeah, maybe we should." He walked over to the lightswitch in the kitchen, waiting for her to walk out first.
Starfire walked back to the couch, glancing behind her before sitting down. She didn’t feel very tired, but maybe it took a minute to work. She honestly wasn’t sure whether she cared anymore.
He turned off the light and walked through the dark room, plopping down beside her with a grunt. "I'm still not feeling very tired," he admitted.
“Neither am I,” she agreed. “But this isn’t so bad.” She brushed back a lock of hair.
He ran a hand over his shaved head and smiled. In the dark, he could unabashedly stare at her features without worry. "Your eyes glow in the dark."
She blinked. “I know. Yours don’t.” There was an undercurrent of humor in her voice. She smiled. “It was a bit weird to me at first, but I’m used to it by now.”
"Weird to you?" he asked with a small chuckle. "Guess this is a whole new planet for you."
“Yeah, it is,” she said. “It was a lot to take in, and there is still a lot I do not know. I like learning about it, though.”
(gtg see ya)
"There's definitely a learning curve." He rubbed his hands together, an old habit that he hasn't kicked. "You're catching on quick, though."
Raven stared up at her ceiling, wide awake. Insomnia was hitting her hard again, she knew she would get nightmares if she slept, anyways. She stood up and put on her cloak, the hood down and around her neck.
Starfire smiled. “Thank you!” She felt a little tired but didn’t want to leave yet so she didn’t say anything.
"No problem," he said, turning when he heard the sound of Raven walking in her room. "Seems we might get another member to the party."
Starfire looked up as well. “That is cool,” she glanced at him to make sure she had used the word correctly. She wondered what Raven was doing up. Maybe they all had insomnia tonight.
Winston snorted. "You're hanging out with Beast Boy too much."
Starfire shrugged with a giggle. “Maybe.” He liked being able to make him laugh. Besides, Beast Boy was fun to hang out with.
"He ate 3 pounds of tofu last night in one sitting," he said, shaking his head in disbelief. "Beast Boy barely weighs that much."
Starfire laughed again. “True,” she acknowledged. “But he is a good friend.”
Oof, I want to say that the one thing I changed was that Raven was aromantic. I forgot to.//
