He spread his arms out wide. "Everything. I like all of it."
He spread his arms out wide. "Everything. I like all of it."
She smiled at that. “That is cool,” she replied, remembering their conversation from last night.
He smiled at that again. "You used it right two times in a row now. You're catching on."
She grinned. “That is good!” Her eyes sparkled with achievement, however minor it might be.
For the first time in recent memory, Winston let his head fall back and released a full and hearty laugh. "Yes. Yes you are."
She was not used to him laughing, and the thought that she had caused it made her happy. She laughed too, beaming.
"You sounded like a child," he teased gently, wiping a tear from his left eye.
“I did?” she asked. She smiled self-conciously.
(sorry that took so long)
He saw her weak smile and waved it off. "Yes, but it's fine. We all have our moments."
She blushed a bit, smiling still. “Maybe we could play a game to pass the time?” she suggested, changing the subject.
"What game do you have in mind?" he asked, leaning his back against the wall.
“Uh, Beast Boy and Cyborg once taught me how to play truth or dare but I don’t know if we could do that in here, and they also taught me kiss, marry, kill,” she said. “If you know a good one then we can do that.”
He snorted. "Those two are a bad influence. I'm not really sure what game to do. I don't do that type of stuff often."
“Because it is a bad influence?” Starfire joked. “I do not have any better ideas.”
"Neither do I," he admitted. "This will be incredibly boring."
“There’s got to be something we can talk about,” she said. “We could play twenty questions. That is not a bad game, is it?”
(she means the version where you ask personal questions not the one where you try to guess what the other person is thinking of)
He tilted his head. "Sure, yeah. You a sk me firt."
“Okay, what is your favorite food?” she asked, not wanting to start with anything too deep or weird. Food seemed a safe enough topic.
"Pizza," he said immediately. "Super easy to eat out of the box."
“Do you ask me a question now?” she asked, fairly sure that was how it went.
He tilted his head in thought. "What is your favorite part about Earth"
“My friends,” she said after a brief moment of deliberation. She smiled at him.
He smiled. "That's sweet, Star."
She blushed lightly, hoping he hadn’t noticed that. “Where is your favorite place to go?”
"Ever been to Paris?" he asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
