Matteo kissed her. Ever since Natalie left him, he didn't think he'd find someone else. And yet, here was Alex.
She was a little surprised but she quickly kissed him back, almost melting against him. Being here with Matteo made her happy, after her other boyfriend broke up with her because of the distance, she didn't know if she'd be able to find someone new.
"I was waiting for that to happen properly," Hailee said from in the next room.
Alex scowled but didn't break away from him, if anything, she pulled herself tighter to him to blockout Hailee.
Gabe looked. "When the fuck did this happen?" He asked.
Alex didn't answer, happy to be kissing Matteo as she waited for them to finish their race. Slapping Hailee was going to be fun, she could already tell.
"Ugh, we're done," Gabe cried out. "Will you stop making out now?"
She pulled away from Matteo just enough to glare at them, slowly stepping all the way away from him. She marched over to Hailee and stood by her, waiting for the perfect time to slap her.
Hailee looked at her friend. "The fuck do you want, Alex?" She asked, slightly annoyed.
"This." She said quite calmly before slapping her hard. "Don't shoot your webs over my mouth or on me again." Her voice was calm but her eyes flashed with anger.
Hailee didn't react. She'd been hit harder in battle. "Slaps are nothing compared to broken ribs."
"You want me to punch you for good measure?" Alex asked, raising an eyebrow and curling her hand into a fist.
"You know I would be able to dodge it easily. Besides, I don't want to start a fight between us."
"Then don't shoot any more webs at me." She said, spinning on her heel and marching back over to Matteo with a grin, "Is it bad to say that slapping her was quite fun?"
"No, slapping people is always fun," Matteo replied. "Especially people close to you."
She chuckled and nodded "I suppose you're right." She shoved him playfully and walked back to where the other two were playing Mario Karts, just being annoying.
"Guys, give us a go," Matteo complained.
"No, we're in the middle of a game," Gabe answered.
Alex huffed, deliberately walking in front of him and the TV before flopping down on the couch between them. She knew she was being annoying but she didn't care.
Gabe glared at her, then used his magic to pick her up and set her down in another room.
She glared at Gabe, marching back into the room that they were in and walking back in front of him. She flopped down on the couch again and scowled, refusing to move.
"Dude, fuck off," Gabe said, using his magic to pick her eye and practically latch her to the ceiling.
Alex just flipped him off several times, glaring at him but not saying anything. If they weren't going to finish soon she was going to annoy them until they did.
Gabe looked up and made her mouth disappear. "I might still be in school but I can handle myself."
She just continued flipping him off, looking around to see if Matteo would help her. She squirmed and struggled and kicked the ceiling to make noise and annoy him.
Matteo sat on the couch behind siblings, lying down and staring up Alex. He smirked. "Serves you right."
