"You're free to stay," she called through the webs, not exactally telling him to stay but not telling him to leave either, "That solution stuff could be useful." She let out another few curse words as she again accidentally peeled off too big of a piece. The words could probably be heard halfway across the city as well at the loudness she said them st.
Metteo turned and looked at him. "Do you want it or not? If you don't want me here, you're not getting it."
"Then get your butt over here." She said, looking at the ground as she swore again, "I swear this stuff is drying onto my skin like superglue, not coming off like Hailee said it would."
"That's because it hasn't been an hour," Matteo replied, walking over.
She scowled, "I don't have an hour to wait," Alex continued to try to pull the webs off as she waited to see if Matteo could find her up in the tree.
Matteo sighed. "Then get down here."
"Fine." She grumbled, dropping out of the tree and landing on her feet gracefully, "Now, how do I get your sisters webs off of my mouth and hand?"
Matteo held up the vial of dissolver. "I told you already. Web dissolver."
Alex walked to him and looked at the bottle, "How does it work? Do you just pour it over?" She asked, going back to picking the webs off from the back of her hand carefully.
Matteo pulled the bottle away. "You have to do something for me in return."
She groaned, "What do I have to do?" She asked, rubbing her face with her unwebbed hand.
Matteo looked at her with a look. "I think it's obvious."
"I really have no clue," She said, completely serious, "Are you going to say something stupid like not slapping Hailee when we go back to the headquarters? Or letting her or you win in Mario Karts?"
"No. I don't really care about Hailee as much as you think. So no. That's not it."
"Getting you food? Saying sorry? Saying that we're officially dating?" She shrugged, listing off possible ideas, "Giving you a kiss? Another makeout session?"
Matteo groaned loudly. "No! Go on a date with me!"
She felt her face heat up barely, the only sign of her embarrassment, "Why couldn't you just say that? I'd say yes even if it didn't mean I got these webs off."
"Well, I thought was obvious!" Matteo said, walking over. He poured some of the web dissolver out and onto her hands.
Immediately the webs started dissolving. Alex smiled and pulled off the larger pieces once they weren't stuck to her hand and soon her hand was clear of webs. "Will this stuff hurt if it's on my face?" She asked, pointing at the bottle.
"No, it shouldn't. It never did for me," Matteo replied.
She nodded, "Then let's get these stupid webs off my face. Then, if you don't mind, I think I'm going to slap Hailee."
"Yes, I'd love to see that happen," Matteo smiled, tilting her head back slightly. He poured the dissolver onto the webs over her mouth.
The dissolver again worked immediately, breaking apart and dissolving the webs. She pulled off the larger pieces again and soon there were no more webs on her face, "Thanks." She said, grinning at him as she wiped the excess off of her face.
Matteo grinned back. "You're welcome," He replied.
"Now, time to go slap Hailee." She grinned and gave him a kiss before turning on her heel and starting towards their headquarters, "I think it's kinda funny that you're going to just let me do this, i love it."
