"I know when to bite my tongue, Eli."
"I know when to bite my tongue, Eli."
"Thank yo-" He yawned again, cutting the sentence short.
Manon sighed. "You should go back to sleep."
There was no argument there. He continued to hold the icepack to his face as he walked to the couch.
"Do you wish for me to leave? I do seem to be causing problems."
He shook his head. "If you want to go, you can, but I'd like you to stay."
Manon slipped out of her shoes and sat back down on the couch. "I will stay then. I am sorry, though."
"It's fine." He laid back down in his previous spot. "You're worth it." ((He's getting up that romance scale
"Another notch up." She said, cheeks turning pink.
"Aw, you're blushing," he said, reaching up and lightly touching her cheek.
She reached up, catching his hand with hers. "It happens from time to time."
"Oh, so it isn't anything special?"
"I did not say that. It does seem to happen most around you."
He smiled, closing his eyes.
"Go to sleep, Eli. We have to go get you a suit tomorrow and set up an interview."
"I know, I know…" He settled into the spot and quickly fell asleep.
She pulled her phone back out, scrolling through social media as he slept.
He turned onto his side, facing away from her.
((time skip?
((Yeah
Manon woke suddenly, neck aching from the angle it had been while she was sleeping, and she yawned. I am so glad I wiped off my makeup last night.
He was still passed out in her lap, his legs curled up slightly.
She searched the couch cushion for her phone, pulling it out to check the time as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.
The jossling around woke him up, and after a quick, "Huh?" his eyes opened slightly, sitting up.
"Bonjour, la belle au bois dormant." She said, brain still waking up, thus the broken translator in her brain.
